You will be disappointed if you plan to use it for thin strips. Each magnet line is at least 3mm apart and runs in one direction only. This means you must first determine the direction in which the magnet is running in order to cut it lengthwise; attempting to make horizontally aligned magnet lines adhere to vertically aligned lines will not work. It'll be fine once you've figured it out. It can't support a lot of weight.
Because I despise the permanence of stickers, I made magnets out of them! The sheets were simple to cut, and I trimmed the edges with a file. It worked perfectly!.
These magnets are good and strong, and they have a sticky side. br>Keep them in the refrigerator rather than in the package, where they will degrade. It's OK. Directly on my fridge, it works fine, but not so much on my magnetic calendar; I was attempting to adhere calendar stickers (e. g. , e. g. , e. g. , On a dry erase calendar, write down all of the important dates (including holidays). Scissors make it simple to cut.
The magnet is simple to use, but it isn't very strong. It adheres well to the back of the timer for which I used it. But it wouldn't stay put on my vent hood, which was where I wanted it. I'm going to try adding a second layer to see if it doubles the magnetic properties. It's simple to cut to the shape and size I needed. However, it would be ideal for photographs.
I wanted to turn a bumper sticker into a magnet so that I wouldn't lose it when I (inevitably) had to get a new car. It's the perfect thickness for this application, slightly thicker even than I anticipated, which gives me more confidence in using it.
The magnets are very thin (only a few millimeters thick), but they stick to each other and the refrigerator very well. They also come with a strong adhesive backing. I'll buy these again without a doubt.
