Questions & Answers

These magnetic sheets will be used to store thinlits dies in the same case as the coordinating su! Cling stamps are a type of rubber stamp that sticks to the surface of the paper Is the case still going to be closed?

Yes. I now keep them in this manner. They are in sync with what I'm working on, which I appreciate.

Will stamps adhere to the non-magnetized side of the stamp and die set?

Yes, if they're thin and light weight. For thicker dies, we recommend magnets that are 30 mil thick or 60 mil thick.

Is it possible to store these while standing?

Yes, these 30 ml magnetic sheets are rigid enough to be stored upright. I'm guessing it'll have some sort of attachment? They are used to store craft dies that I attach to magnets and then place in a plastic sleeve with the dies' paper label insert. When stored standing up, the entire ensemble creates a stiffer item.

How powerful are these magnets in terms of gauss?

Flexible magnets have a low Gauss and are used to keep themselves and paper stuck to metal surfaces.

Stampin' Up stamp cases and dies will fit perfectly in this size
5/5

On one side of the magnetic sheet, it is stronger than the other. I use these to hold Stampin' Up dies and they work well. Inside the case, there are framelits and coordinating stamps.

There is only one magnetic side to this item
4/5

At 30 mil, it's a little thicker. Both sides should be magnetic, I reasoned. However, only the uninteresting side is present. The magnet isn't very strong, but it'll suffice for my needs of storing craft dies. If I stick the cutting ridge side of the dies against the magnet, they tend to fall off more easily than if I stick the flat side of the dies against the magnet. You don't need a particularly powerful magnet for die storage because you want to be able to easily remove the dies from the magnetic sheet. Rather than using their 20 ml, I chose this (30 mil thickness). a magnet with a body - When held straight up, it does not flop over.

It will suit my requirements
4/5

I keep my craft dies in these. I'd like them to have a little more magnetic strength, but they'll do for now. I like how light these magnetic sheets are in comparison to others I've purchased. My containers have become so heavy as a result of the others' efforts that I am unable to carry them! To make my container more portable, I might replace the others with more of these.
NOTE: You must test both sides of this magnet because one side does not work while the other does.

It's a good magnet that can be cut down to size
5/5

These magnet sheets are what I bought to keep my cutting dies organized. As long as the cutting dies aren't bent, they work pretty well. They stick to the magnetic sheet as long as the metal die piece is in contact with it. The fact that the sheet can be cut with scissors or a paper trimmer appeals to me. I added a piece of cardstock to the envelope to give the magnet inside a cellophane envelope more rigidity. That's just enough to keep them flat and give you easy access to the dies.

Purchased to protect craft dies with a clear velcro tab protective envelope

Update. I discovered that these did not require any trimming for some A5 six hole zip shut slider plastic sleeves that are sold for journals and other items of that size; I was able to easily slip these in and out, and they held my metal cutting dies fairly well. I have a lot of very small dies, and because of their size, it's very easy to lose one while working and having a cluttered desk. Even if I am extremely cautious, it is possible that something will go wrong. Because they're attached with magnets, there's less chance of one escaping or being thrown out with scraps during clean-ups. I'm so happy these fit into the sleeves, I went ahead and ordered another pack of 30 sleeves today. There are also a few more A5 notebooks to keep them in. Die storage is made easier with a variety of easy-to-identify dies that can be organized by theme and project. Many of the larger dies and sets will be kept on full-size magnetci sheets 8. 5x11 inch, which in some cases the dies came on magnetic sheets of that size, but we'd like to add more. Some are holiday themed, while others are celestial, and both have a lot of great options from a variety of brands that work well together in that category, so it's nice to keep them all together on a page apart but next to each other so you don't have to sift through everything that's all tucked away and hard to see what's what. I was surprised that the magnets at 30 mm were not more powerful, but it's still a good product. Smaller dies also appear to hold their shape better than larger dies. Overall, I'm pleased with my decision, and I'm looking forward to receiving the standard size sheet size so I can continue organizing my dies. Original: br>Original: br>Original: br>Original: br>br>I inquired in the Q/A section to ensure that they are the size they claim to be. And a resounding YES from a large number of respondents. THANK YOU VERY MUCH TO EVERYONE WHO RESPONDED. These have been delivered. These are nice and thick, which I like. I can leave it full size or cut it down to fit smaller envelopes for a more customized fit. It will take a little more time, but it will be well worth it. I'm going to order a pack of full size magnetic sheets that are plain because, while I could attach a piece of cardstock to the other side to void the self adhesive side out, there's always the risk that the adhesive will fail and the paper stuck to it will curl, etc. Yes, some of us prefer the plain no adhesive version. This gets 5 stars just for that. For the full size 8, I'm debating whether to use 30 mil or 20 mil. I have specialty folders, three ring binders, and three sets of fancy brand die cuts that come on a full size magnetic sheet made to hold them, all in the 5"x11" size. (There are also full sets of Zodiac sign words and symbols, an advent calendar, and 12 days of Xmas embossing dies. ) I then added other dies from the celestial sets, such as circles and hot foil glimmer dies, from various brands. Because I wanted to keep everything together, including the stamps, I created my own three-ring standard size notbook binder. These full-size sheets will be perfect for the job. I believe the specialty sets are on 30 mil, but they are not positive; I was checking them out today to make sure. However, for about the same price, you can get a set of ten 30 mil sheets or twenty 20 ml sheets, and I also have the option of cutting the full sheets in half to fit in the mini three ring binders or making my own bound books in any size for specialized collections. I like being able to pull down a specific theme or style and have everything I need in one place. PS Use mini baking sheet pans as trays to store your dies when not in use, and line them with magnetic sheets to keep them safe and secure while cleaning up a table full of card stock and scraps. Most of my die cuts, such as the Poppystamp whittles and tiny's, are itty bitty. As a result, there's no such thing as too much caution. I also have pets, and for some reason, the trays are perfect for this. And it's less expensive than the cheaper trays sold by some crafters for the same purpose. Everyone stay safe, and kudos to the maker and seller of this magnetic sheeting for being upfront about the size of the listing, which was extremely helpful. br>(PS I had ordered a set of magnetic sheets in the 6x4 size. ) They arrived, and they were lovely, except for one flaw: they were almost a half inch smaller all the way around, and the sleeves were far too short, resulting in a return for false advertising. It's important to get the right size, and I'm glad this brand is open and honest about it. ).

For craft use, this is the best buy
5/5

These are what I use to keep my dies and stamps organized in a pocket envelope. They are the ideal combination of strength and quality. This is the fourth time I've purchased this brand, and I've recommended it to other crafters in need of organization.

Excellent value for money and ideal for die storage
5/5

When I first started organizing my stamps and dies, I noticed that many craft companies recommended magnetic sheets. I use vinyl storage pockets to store my stamps and dies, and these are the perfect size; the price is excellent and the best I could find for this product; and I can easily cut them to size if necessary. For this purpose, I strongly suggest this product! I've already placed an order for my second pack, and I'm thinking about doing so again. They arrived at my house in excellent condition within a few days, just as they promised.

Magnetics of Marietta Plain Magnetic Sheets 30 Mil 5" x 7" 25 Pack These were a huge success
5/5

When I was reorganizing my die cuts, I discovered that the various sizes I purchased all worked out perfectly. I didn't use the adhesive because I packaged them in zip lock bags with a picture of the die set on the front. br>I can just pull out the magnetic piece and have all of the parts I need, and it keeps everything in order, and I can just slip the die set back into the bag when I'm done. I purchased a variety of sizes, so you may see this review multiple times. I've bought other sizes from Marietta Magnetics before, and I'll buy from them again if I need more.
