Depending on the type of material used for the phone case, I believe the adhesive should work on the back. The magnet, on the other hand, isn't particularly powerful. I don't believe it would keep it shut. br>br>I used the magnet to hold a cute magnet figure in my car, and while the adhesive is fairly strong, the magnet would fall off if I were to lightly graze it.

I made a communication board for my son out of these. The magnets were adhered to the backs of laminated photographs. and they were incredibly simple to work with. My two-year-old son has had a lot of fun with them. The magnets have stayed in place so far!.

I couldn't have asked for a better solution! These magnets are perfect for my save-the-date fridge magnets, and I'm very pleased with them

Magnet tape is much more difficult to use and apply. The magnetic strength isn't as strong as I expected, but it holds up my save the date perfectly! Highly recommended for what I'm using them for, but I wouldn't recommend them for anything heavier.

To my Save the Dates, I wanted to include a magnet. They were 5X7 cardstock and the magnets held them firmly on the fridge. They were also never loose or came off.

These are great because they are strong enough to hang my posters but the kids don't see them and don't steal them because they are attached to the back of the posters. I teach 9th grade and students are always stealing my magnets off my board for whatever reason. The magnets are sticky enough to stick to the posters, but not so much that I can't remove and reuse them.
