These aren't bad, but I'd go with the 30 mil next time because they're a bit thin. I bought it to keep my craft dies in. Dies do not adhere well to the other side of the dull side, which is the magnetic side.
So these are where I keep my cutting dies. I use a clear plastic type and it works fine in an envelope. They don't have a lot of charisma. The dies are constantly falling off, necessitating the use of an envelope or some other method to keep them together. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase and will be purchasing more in the future because the value for money is unbeatable. Magnetic sheets with a higher price tag are nice to have, but with my extensive die collection, this is the way to go. Because the magnetic sheets are floppy, I also bought some inexpensive heavyweight cardstock and glued them to it. But, as I previously stated, if you have a small collection, you may want to consider investing in a better magnetic sheet, but that would be too costly for me.
In my opinion, it is well worth the money. These are where I keep my craft dies (such as those from Stampin Up). They're a little light on the magnetic side, but they'll suffice for my purposes. The fact that they come in a large pack appeals to me. I also like that I don't have to cut them to fit into a stamp case because they are already cut to size. All of this eliminates the need for me to purchase and cut down vent covers. In terms of price - It would be determined by the financial situation of each individual. I'm willing to pay a little more to avoid the additional time and effort of cutting (which also necessitates more blade replacement). If I need more, I will definitely purchase more.
I ordered 50 of the 5X7 and only received 25, which is why there is such a low rating. I was planning to return them and reorder because I like the product and it is what I was using it for, but when I went to look to reorder, the item was no longer available, and if I ordered 25, it would cost about the same as the 50, so I was very disappointed. I ordered two of the items when I placed my order, and the other order was flawless, and they both arrived on time. They had been repackaged, and I thought it was amusing that they both had inspection stickers on them. I'm guessing the inspector can't count to 50 because he can only count to 25. I'm hoping the seller will contact me and make things right. Because I am a big fan of their product.
The magnet isn't particularly strong, and I agree with some of the other reviewers. It has served my purpose of holding my dies for crafting. I wish I had paid a little more for the adhesive ones, but I love that I can cut them to any size and glue them to the card the dies came on, a piece of cereal box, etc. Overall, I'm pleased with them and believe they're a good value for the money, and the 50 pack will last me a long time.
These magnetic sheets fit perfectly inside my stamp cases, allowing me to keep my dies in the same place as my stamps. br>I think they'd be better if they were a little more rigid or stronger. The dies have a tendency to fall off when they flex. Also, before I lay out the dies, it's difficult to tell which side is more magnetic.
I finally got the right ones this time. I didn't have time to return and wait for replacements the last time I received the adhesive-backed ones, which were not what I ordered.
I've used the sticky-back sheets before, but I wanted to give these a try because they were less expensive; the magnet doesn't appear to be as strong as the sheets I've previously purchased, but that could be due to the sheet's flexibility. To keep the dies from falling out, I think I'll have to back them with card stock.
