Questions & Answers

Is the magnetic side strong enough to stick on the back of a car with an adhesive sticker?

Yes, I've used these sheets to make magnetic bumper stickers out of regular ones. I recommend removing them before entering a car wash, but they stick just fine otherwise; in fact, this is why I bought them in the first place; I also use them to make magnetic business cards to stick on the fridge so that I have the phone numbers of various service providers on hand.

Can I use these sheets as a backboard for my daughter's magical alphabets by peeling and sticking them to the wall?

This is not a good idea in my opinion. You'll never be able to take them down from their perch. All you need is a magnetic white board, which has a metal surface to which any magnets will adhere. They can be hung or screwed to the wall. Staples, Walmart, office supply stores, and art supply stores all sell these in a variety of sizes. I hope this has been of assistance.

I'd like to hide the ceiling registers. Is this sturdy enough to hang from the ceiling rather than on the wall? This is why I'm considering a thickness of 20 mils - What is the sheet's weight?

That's what I think!

Could keys be held by these magnets? Is it possible to simply place my spare keys on a sheet that is glued to the wall for closet organization?

I don't think so. They can't even hold a piece of paper in their hands. Perhaps a sheet of metal from Home Depot will suffice?

A myth has been debunked! Minis don't like it! This was seen as an alternative to Battlefoam Magnarack for Warhammer miniature storage
3/5

This isn't the "strong alternative" that I was led to believe. The magnets are useful for a variety of tasks, but they are insufficient for this one. I stuffed a sheet with genestealers and watched as some of them flew around with only a slight tremor. This will be used for "cold storage" of old armies that I do not want to abandon. But it's not something I use on a regular basis.

Worthy of a car magnet I bought these to cut down some decals and convert them to magnets so we could move them around from vehicle to vehicle as needed
5/5

br>These are easy to cut with regular scissors, and they hold well as long as the magnet is on a flat surface. I usually take the magnets out of the car when I go to the car wash, so I haven't put them to the test in that situation. br>There is an adhesive side and a non-adhesive side to the magnet sheets. I would apply the adhesive decal to the adhesive side of the magnet when converting a decal to a car magnet. The only difficulty is ensuring that all of the bubbles are removed. I would apply the decal to the magnet and then trim it depending on the size and shape of the decal. This was the only way I could keep the decal or magnet from touching each other. Bubbles may form in the decal during application, but they can be massaged out. There may be a liquid solution, similar to applying window tint to remove all of the bubbles, but I did not test this. If the goal was to display a picture on the magnet, these would work as well. If you're trying to keep papers from falling off a refrigerator, you'll need a lot of surface area.

It's useful in a variety of ways
5/5

I liked this product a lot, but I didn't use it to make magnets out of it. I used it to keep my wafer thin dies organized and accessible in a binder. I used extra thick and strong page protectors, slipping two in with the black side out, and sorting my dies by style or type. It encourages me to use my dies more often while also keeping the workspace tidy. They bend a little because they aren't mounted on anything rigid, which causes some dies to pop off when they bend, but that's why I slide them into the page protectors:.

This is the meat and potatoes of the matter

I wanted to turn some homemade stickers into magnets for long-term use, as well as display some photos on my work locker. * Magnet strength: br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>b Maybe a little more than you'd expect from a flat magnet. I wouldn't expect it to hold up a whole picture frame, but it'll suffice for your own printed magnets. It can hold a standard index card without slipping when used as a magnet. br>* Cutting easiness: There were no problems with either pair of scissors (pro tip: Always have a pair of scissors that you never use to cut paper with), or a razor knife. br>* Adhesive: It's strong but not gooey. I didn't get any sticky goo on the scissor blades (as you might with cheap packing tape), and the trimmed bits only stuck to the razor blade because it's made of steel. *Backing: pbr>Pbr>Pbr>Pbr>Pbr> When you want it to come off, it does so easily. It does not fall off on its own. It accepts pencil marks without issue. br>br>There's enough here for a variety of projects. Overall, I consider this to be a fantastic deal.

This is a fantastic way to store Sizzix Framelit Dies
5/5

A fun way to store your Sizzix Framelit Dies was also discovered on Pinterest. These magnetic sheets are a little on the pricey side, but they do the job. In the near future, I plan to purchase more of them. Each sheet is sticky on one side. br>br> I did it and covered it with a piece of card stock. After that, punch three holes in an old album and insert it. You've completed the task. Keep the cutting edge of your Framelits facing up when storing them. You can store three sets of framelits on each Magnetic Sheet, depending on their size.

There are ten magnetic sheets in total, each with an 8-inch diameter
5/5

Magnet measures 5 x 11 inches and is 20 mil thick. To make magnets for Anime Expo, I purchased these magnetic sheets with adhesive backing. I drew some pictures, colored them in Photoshop, and had them printed several times. I used self-adhesive laminate to protect them. Laminating sheets are applied to the magnetic sheet after they have been laminated. This magnetic sheet is SUPER STICKY. br>br> If you don't want to ruin whatever you stuck to the magnet, don't remove it once you've put it on. So, in a nutshell, it's extremely powerful. br>br>Once I had everything put together on the magnetic sheet, I wanted to cut out my drawings, sometimes in shapes and sometimes in simple squares. The squares were simple to cut out with regular scissors or something a little more robust. I was having trouble cutting shapes and precise cuts with regular scissors or an xacto knife when I first started, so I switched to a box cutter. After that, I attempted to cut my nails with nail scissors. Nothing seemed to be working until I asked around and went to Home Depot to buy a pair of tin snips and another small, easy-to-use tool. So this magnetic sheet is a little thicker than those simple magnets you get from like pizza chains or whatever, and I had an easier time handling pair of metal cutters (like scissors). As a result, cutting it is a little more difficult, but not impossible. br>br>Overall, I liked this magnetic sheet; it's sturdy, long-lasting, and holds items to the fridge. It works well as a craft material. I bought two more packs after buying one, so I'd say it's decent! My only criticism is that it is a little pricey, but avery magnetic sheets are about the same price for only 5 sheets. So. This is the way to go if you truly want to make your magnets and other items by hand. br>br>I hope this information is useful to some poor, inexperienced crafters like myself.

I used these magnets on the backs of my paper cutouts, and they wouldn't stick to metal at all
3/5

I also had to use glue because the adhesive side would not stick to the paper. So, in the end, it was a waste of time.

Magnetic sheets for photos and bumper stickers are available in a variety of sizes
3/5

The magnets' strength is a disappointment to me. I use small plastic wasabi plates to apply decals to my models, and I wanted to display them on my desk's metal peg board. To keep this small plate in place, I had to use three layers of this magnet sheet. The adhesive is decent, and it would probably hold up well if you wanted to make magnetic bumper stickers or magnetic pictures for the fridge, but it won't hold anything on the fridge. There isn't much of a magnetic field. It isn't going to work for any tool. As a test, I couldn't even get a 4 x 2 piece to hold a plastic spoon to my peg board; it just slid down.
