I got it delivered last night and I've never been more excited in my life. It's an incredible concept and idea. br>I spent about 20 minutes removing "We Deliver For You" from one of the large postal trucks with it. It worked fine until the metal that held the blade became too hot, and the blade began to slide around and eventually fell out. Jump to 7:30 p. m. to get a head start on tomorrow's truck and see how it performed on the big blue square logo. As you can see from the photos, it's not a long way. Keep in mind that I need to remove these 2003 stickers without damaging the paint, and I've been removing decals since I was ten years old. br>I was gently pushing it through with the tiniest amount of pressure. Then there's the PLASTIC handle, which is holding an ungodly hot metal tube with a razor inside of it. SNAPS is a word that comes to mind when I think of the word "snap. " Who'd have guessed? Clearly, this is not the company that makes this item, or that it is being built by a 4-year-old in Taiwan. Who the f*** makes a soldering iron razor scraper that is of inferior quality to a standard non-heated razor scraper? br>Forget about the fact that it's packaged like something you'd find in a dollar store. br>And I was planning on getting a few more because of the poor quality. I expected to need a new one sooner rather than later, but I didn't expect the devil's finger to land on my arm after a total of 30 minutes (20 then 10). If you're planning on doing anything other than removing holiday clings from your kitchen window, I strongly advise you NOT TO BUY THIS PRODUCT. br>**UPDATE** I repaired and modified this tool, and it now works perfectly in less than 7 minutes. This company only needed 7 minutes of caring to produce a fantastic product.
The blades aren't held in place by anything on this thing. After about 10 minutes of use, the little thing that holds the blades in place becomes weak, and blades easily fall out of the side; this may not seem like a big deal, but once that blade hits the ground, it gets nicked or warped, and it's better to just throw it away and get a new one. This thing didn't work any better for me than a non-functional non-functional non-functional non-functional non-functional non-functional non-functional non-functional scraper with a heating element And I discovered that starting the decals with a non-heated scraper and slowly peeling them off is the best method.
This product assisted me in removing two stickers from my vehicle. The first was on the passenger side of the vehicle's windshield. I previously attempted and failed to remove this sticker the old fashioned way. However, it came off with relative ease using the electric heated decal, sticker, and adhesive remover. br>br>The other sticker could be found on the back bumper. To be honest, the sticker was practically super-sized. glued on. This product not only removed the sticker, but it also removed a substantial amount of paint. So proceed with caution! This thing is so good at removing stuff that if you're not careful or the decal is stuck on too well, it'll remove your paint as well.
It works well, but it is light in weight, and the razor holder is flimsy, unable to tighten after an hour of use.
It was a success. It turned out to be a difficult job, so I had to look for something else.
It was used to clean the trailer's lap sealant.
All of these quickly become obsolete. None of them are better or worse than the others.
everything is fine.
