Despite its stated inside diameter of 13", these crates actually have only a 12" diameter. In the questions section it mentions that these crates have an inside diameter of 13". Not only is the outside diameter not 13 inches, it is only 12 inches. When I bought this crate, I wanted to store LP's, if the size described fit that need, they would be able to store The originals were advertised as a half-inch record player, but the actual size is closer to four inches.
I was able to buy just one crate instead of two at Home Depot a few weeks later for a lot less money. They are sturdy and what you would expect from them.
With four grip positions and a nicely stacked design, this one is durable and versatile. Nevertheless, Muscle Rack should seriously work on their injection process control since there are too many flashes and burrs on this product that you can either remove manually (with a knife, then sandpaper) or live with painful blisters on your hands when you pick it up Even though the price is good, poor tool maintenance and/or lack of rework in the factory is not acceptable.
The material is not heavy-duty in the least. There is no real difference between the two. The holder will not hold a standing person or a sitting person. Pushing down on it or pulling it with your hands allow you to bend it. There is no way I can make up for this.
As soon as they're filled to the brim, we empty them into our bigger garbage can in the garage for the garbage men to collect. Easily cleaned, durable, and very lightweight, these are perfect for any environment.
Now that I've been thinking about it, I just went ahead and ordered them. I was not expecting these to be quite as sturdy as they are. A 20-pound propane cylinder in the back of my SUV to be filled and a second one of various items to be stored in the back - I wanted one to hold both of those things at once. Batteries jumper, tools, gloves, hand towel, extra shoes, etc. All these items will come in handy.
To transport my items to local craft markets, we bought these boxes to store and transport them. Our booth displays are also built using them as a base for shelving units. Although they are not as heavy duty as other ones I've had in the past, they seem to be sturdy nonetheless. Those are the trucks I'm using to transport painted rocks and concrete bricks. It is likely that they will be fine for most uses if they are able to support that weight.
Rather, it is molded plastic (however durable) designed to appear as a milk crate, but are in fact completely different in shape. As a result, if you purchase these to, say, transport vinyl record albums (LPs), the albums will not fit within these things. It should be clear from the description of the product. You should be wary of buying from a stranger.
