This was purchased in preparation for a trip to Cuba, where I planned to purchase several paintings. I was able to roll up six paintings and fit them into this tube, which I carried with me as a carry-on. on the way back, I simply slid it into the overhead compartment horizontally; It was small enough that other bags could be secured there alongside it. You can actually take it apart into two pieces if you extend it past the final notch. br>br> If you need to clean, I suppose this is a good option.
I have a poster that I'd like to protect, and based on the description, I thought this would be a good option. That is not the case. While adjusting the length is simple, it does not lock in place once done. Even if the unit is in the "locked" position, you can still adjust the length.
This item is advertised as being made of "durable plastic" that is "highly impact resistant. " " The plastic used to make this tube is so thin and flimsy that it deforms in your hand when you pick it up. It's impossible to imagine a worse locking mechanism. It is completely untrue. Only purchase if you want everything you're carrying to end up on the floor.
It doesn't take up a lot of room, is lightweight, and should fit a variety of prints if we buy any on our trip. Although the "position locking" does not appear to be very tight, it should suffice for our needs and provide adequate protection.
These are perfect for transporting four people. Rods for fishing on the go in a set of five. Rod cases for these types of travel rods typically cost between $2 and $4. 4 times as much as this. Excellent value for money.
The screws that had been used to secure the red bands for scraping had come loose while walking, and the red band eventually fell off, causing the harness to fall apart. I wish I had been able to return it because I used it after the return deadline! Don't waste your time and money or risk losing your documents by wasting money that could have been spent on a better product! You've just wasted your money on a useless tube!.
It's not a pretty sight. It's not the most powerful, but unless you're carrying a spare copy of the Declaration of Independence or the Magna Carta, it'll keep your documents or whatever you need safe. I'd buy it or give it to someone else again.
This was not at all what I had anticipated. This is made of injection molded plastic that is about 2-inches thick. 3x the rigidity of a milk jug made of plastic. Junk.
