Larger format textiles and art projects were carried around campus in various folders and tubes by students. It occurred to me that I should look into a solution like this for transporting blueprints, technical drawings, and large prints. I bought one, then two, and I'd gladly buy more if I needed them. The translucent tube allows me to see what's inside, and it snaps back from dings and bends. It's also very light.
I have three of them. I recommend choosing an unattractive color because everyone else has the blue one. I also added some stickers to mine, which turned out to be fantastic tubes. I have three of them. They're ideal for traveling with posters because they fit easily into the overhead bin.
The carrying strap's attachment was either broken when it arrived or broke before it was used.
It has a simple design and is simple to use. Maintains the safety of posters during transportation.
If you slide it behind your carryon, it will fit nicely in the overhead bin. When everyone has a poster tube, bright colors make it easy to find yours.
It was exactly what I was looking for, and it arrived promptly.
awesome!.
I bought one of these tubes to transport a 42x56 professional-quality poster to a conference. The item is shrink-wrapped when it is delivered. The tube, not the end caps, is secured by an adjustable strap. The tube is made of a single piece of plastic. It is lightweight but durable, and it does not expand. Carrying a poster of this size is difficult, and the risk of it being damaged during transportation is high. My poster was in excellent condition when it was delivered. The strap made it much easier to carry while pushing luggage. The first flight (smaller plane) had to be canceled due to the weather. On the second flight, I was able to squeeze into the overhead bin. A mailing tube would cost at least 12 times as much and would not have the strap or provide the same level of protection. For anyone who needs to store or transport large documents, this is a fantastic investment. Shop around to find the best deal.
