Those notebooks are unique in that they have a cover that grabs your attention. I like the way it feels kind of velvet-y The design is pleasing to the eye, as well as It is exempt from touching or being used until it is touched or used. I actually take quite good care of my notebooks when I use them In fact, I do not like the look of my notebooks bent, wrinkled, and warped, but fingerprints make the cover look worn. I like the way the edges bend and fold so easily. A very small amount of dust or dirt can be easily seen. It takes almost no time for these books to look like garbage. After that - In addition, there are some issues that aren't addressed There is a cosmetic issue, as the sheets are thin and the writing shows through It is the binding that is most frustrating There is a hard time bending the binding and it begins to release from the paper near the bottom and top. I have several Cambridge notebooks, including the top-of-the-line notebooks, but these newest ones seem to be inferior in quality. Many pages have perforations that do not extend across their whole surface, causing it to be difficult for a clean tear to form. There is a lot of variation, such as some pages working perfectly while the next isn't responding. I have no idea how quality control is doing. My purchase of these notebooks will not be repeated.
