The safe was in great condition when it arrived. As a result, the safe's electronics had failed. The batteries I provided had not been able to power the safe. After removing the door's inside cover, I noticed a ribbon cable had come unplugged from the printed circuit board. I plugged the cable back in and the safe now works perfectly. I had the same problem as some other reviewers the door dragged on the case jamb. It was only a matter of making a tightening adjustment with the 1/2" wrench. During my troubleshooting and adjusting of the safe's door, I spent about 10 minutes adjusting the electronics. The product was returned to Amazon Warehouse, so I thought it might be damaged, but other than that, it's okay. I'm glad I took the chance on buying it as it cost only thirty dollars delivered. I wouldn't waste your time trying to contact Mesa Safe Company because they never return calls, so I assume the warranty is also a waste of time.
The case is small enough to store your most important items. It does not take up a lot of space at all. The convenience is great.
