It is expected to arrive with the door closed and locked, according to the operating instructions. There's a key provided, and you can use that to unlock using the key provided, and then program the code (or swipe card - depending on the security system you have) I arrived to find that it was not going to work with any card that I had in my wallet with a magnetic strip on it) Arrived with the door ajar which was my first clue it wasn't going to work after all. Although the door closed physically, it did so with a gap and was resistent, and (2) the locking bolts themselves did not extend sufficiently (even with a manual key) to hold the door shut—this was found when the door was opened, then closed, but not fully shut. As they strike the inside edge of the safe, they deform the It took me a while to determine whether all the wires were connected after replacing the 4 AA batteries with 6 AA batteries, and finding there was no power to the control panel. The battery box is mounted to a custom-made enclosure Outside the door is a list of the things to do. It turns out the battery box is secured with a single small screw, which is held in place by a spring clip A floating (unsecured) nut on an unexposed area on the inside of the door cavity and once the nut is removed, it falls into the door cavity. Once I placed the battery box back into place, it was no longer powering the panel. I had to jostle the wires and connectors inside the door to get the panel to come on, but it was no longer working. This pattern should be repeated 3 times The number of times is 4. Having discovered that the bolts on the door did not even secure it, I decided to package it back up and refund my money. The external back cover did come with it There are simple connector pins on the outside of the door under the key panel as well as a battery box that could be plugged in A backup battery is installed just in case the original batteries fail. I thought that was a good backflip The design is up to par (I give it However, the rest of the design was very poor. My recommendation for this product is to avoid it at all costs. Once I open the box, I will have the item on its way back home within two hours.
I used this safe when I rented a unit and found it to be exactly right. It is large enough to fit an The system was easy to use (both with a magnetic stripe and via the 4-way switch) and easy to set up Each key has a unique code (a 5-digit code), and there is a key for emergency use. There is also a light inside in case the closet doesn't have the best lighting (like mine does). Excellent if you have a few items you want to keep safe temporarily or if you have a short-term rental. This was professionally installed so the shelf and the wall would be bolted to the desk.
I use a magnetic strip for the first time on my first safe. Stacking them together for storage is how I store my guns. There is no waiting time and the code works perfectly. Battery backups don't need to be used as these safes have never failed. However, I change the batteries annually to avoid needing to rely on the backup key. Any magnetic stripe-enabled card reader works well on either a driver's license, a credit card or anything else with a magnetic strip. If you lock the safe every time you can either use a combination or a magnetic strip to access it. You also set the combination every time you close it so that each time you lock it, you can make changes to I love how easy it is and how nice the functionality is. The safes I used were perfect for the purpose I used them for and I would DEFINITELY recommend them to anyone!.
For 89 dollars, you're not getting the fortress of You'll be satisfied as long as you understand that. I think that this is an excellent little safe for the money. It is indeed safe, easy to use, and very convenient. This is a good lock for protecting cash or a few valuables, and it can be concealed on a bookshelf easily.
This company distributes safes that are similar to mine. Despite being about 2/3 the size of the one I own, it works just as well as the one I own. The cabinet comes with 4 tiny screws, which you should throw away. Instead, drill through the thin metal sides of the cabinet, and buy 4 larger, durable screws to screw into studs of the The jewelry will not be safe in a fire. The quality will meet one's jewelry needs and home security needs for the price.
The item is made in China, although it probably is worth the cost. It may not be as durable as but I suspect the hotel type. Be careful with the There is not enough room in the battery box to allow them to self align. Thus the screen does not display until the battery is shifted by hand (by pushing the positive terminal against the positive terminal). It is best to remove the serial number if you do not want someone unauthorized to order the.
The customer service rep told me that I needed a battery with an expiration date long before 2026 to get it to work (never heard of this before) I just bought brand new Duracell batteries with 2027 expirations and it still will not turn on. It is of no use to have a safe that will not A safety system that is the worst I have ever seen. This is not a good buy.
I was able to access the web site using all the means A lock or a combination of locks The keys are out, the pin is in, the credit card is in, and the battery is low - As a result). There were a couple of paint chips on the painting job (not enough to justify the return shipping/re-delivery). The packaging/cushioning on the 8 corners of the safe was also on the weak side. In the course of shipping). It is also important to note that just small laptops (13" without the extended battery sticking out the back) will fit inside the safe. Check the dimensions of the model if you intend to use it for larger devices.
