Having never used it with a standard 50 sheet pad, I have no idea. As of right now, I am working on approximately 60 individual sheets of paper, which are currently hanging under the clip. It seems pretty secure despite the fact that I am tossing the clipboard around. I hope this is helpful.
In fact, the surface of the slab

Neither mine nor my friend's arrived damaged. Despite the packaging being a little too bulky, I liked it.

The review of this clipboard surprised me, because I didn't think a clipboard could get a negative review. It is hard to describe exactly why the clip creates such deep creases in your paper, but overall, the clip leaves permanent marks on those pages because of its design. My papers were almost destroyed by this method, because I didn't realize from any of the reviews that this would happen. Since this is the case, it is not really useful as a clipboard, but it is a hard surface for writing on, so I guess at least one star goes to it.
To use at work, I was looking forward to a bright red clipboard. The red is actually duller, deeper than what it appears. An adhesive was applied to the metal clip, which was glued onto the board after the plastic backer was covered with When you try to remove it, you end up with some pieces of seran wrap sticking out underneath the metal part. There is no way to remove the metal clip so we can get the last bits of plastic wrap from underneath. As I recall, the saran wrap was placed over the board during production so that it would be protected from scratches, but my board was covered in scratches after I removed the covering. If I'd gone to Staples or Office Depot, I would have saved a lot of time.
It appears sturdy and will last As far as the clip goes, it seems pretty strong, however it seems to only last for a few seconds. It is difficult to get the plastic wrap off the clip area around the clip. I believe the plastic was placed and then the clip was added. You can pull the plastic out with a flathead screwdriver or butter knife, or you can use your hands to gently tug it out. Due to physical limitations I'm pretty much homebound and it would be difficult for me to go to a retail store and buy one - maybe these are less expensive locally - but I wouldn't be able to buy them - My main reason for appreciating Amazon and sellers like these so much is that I would not make a trip just to get a clipboard!.
A great surface to work on with full, rich colors. Sturdy and full of character. It seems to be able to withstand constant usage since I use it everyday for reading reports. One complaint I have is with the plastic wrapping on the board when it was shipped. It is very difficult to remove it, as has been mentioned by others. Yet a new problem has arisen In fact, the plastic packaging is stuck to the clip from both the front and the If the plastic is on the board and the clip mechanism is atop it, it's as if a board was covered with plastic. It was a tweezers and lots of much finer pricking I actually needed to remove the shards of plastic from the clip mechanism, so it wasn't necessary to protect the board.
Heavy use leads to cracks in the plastic. There have been two clipboards that have cracked in half for me. Over time, the small bending that occurs each day seems to cause cracks in the plastic, which then grow over time. With my books and papers, I keep the clipboard on my lap and carry it in a backpack. The program is used by me every single day for hours. There are several things to be happy about Despite repeated use, the clip remains strong and does not loosen over time. The rivets do not loosen either, so the whole item is very dependable. Their light weight makes them ideal for travel. The style is very appealing to me. You can purchase them for a low price. There are a number of bad things A little too much bending occurs. As mentioned above, there was cracking.
Several packets of paper need to be flipped through and highlighted during my work. This is what I use to do this. The color purple is very appealing to me. There is no need to replace the clip, and the board is light in weight. It seems that the manufacturer must have wrapped it in plastic packaging before putting the screws on the back, which caused us to have to pull the plastic out from under the screws. Also, I read that the manufacturer wrapped it in plastic packaging before pushing the screws into the back. I must say, however, that it turned out great!.
I agree that it was covered with cellophane for protection. The clip (or clips) are made very well and will hold anything you wish! A second purchase will definitely be made if necessary. In terms of weight. The packing process. I am pleased with the arrival. In fact, many said that they were wrapped in cellophane to protect them. It's perfect. all you have to do is make a slit in the cellophane without cutting through the clipboard. The cellophane must be slowly peeled off and if it is pulled from around the "clip", it should be pulled "very slowly" and "very slowlyyy". Don't doubt it, go ahead and purchase!.
I enjoy writing on this board as it is solid to hold and easy to write on. There is some flexibility in it, but not so much as to hinder This color was chosen because it had high visibility, and it has worked out beautifully! I am able to locate my clipboard even in the middle of a cluttered desk (ok, disaster area) in a few seconds, no matter how deeply buried it is.
