Boorum & Pease 21150Q Quadrille Accounting Book, Black, 150 Pages, 8 1/8 x 10 3/8

For everyday use, this is ideal. These notebooks have been in my possession for four years, and here are my thoughts on them. br>br>From an aesthetic standpoint, the notebook is very appealing. A large part of the appeal of this notebook is the black color with red spine/corner contrasts and gold accents. While some may dismiss the importance of appearances, I believe they are crucial. If I'm going to be looking at this notebook every day for the next year as I meticulously fill in each page, it had better look good in my hands, on my desk, or wherever else I'm going to see it. I believe the Boorum is correct. This is carried out by Pease 21300Q. br>br>When writing, the paper itself provides adequate feedback. It is slightly coarse rather than smooth and glossy. This makes writing with pencils a pleasurable experience (especially in comparison to other ultra-modern writing instruments). Clairefontaine's smooth notebook papers are a good example of this. When I write, it's mostly flat (I say "mostly" because the first and last few pages are always the most challenging). As advertised, the numbers and grid lines are erasable and smearing resistant. br>br>However, some types of ink don't work well with the paper. All types of ballpoint and roller ball pens work fine in my experience; however, fountain pen performance is determined by a combination of ink and nib size; as others have mentioned, watery inks combined with larger nibs can cause feathering. I use a medium nib pen, but I use dryer inks, specifically iron gall ink, to avoid such problems.

The paper is too thin and fibrous to be of any use. Any ink other than ball point bleeds through to the other side of the page, and even that ink can be seen. The brand's current owners have costed the quality of the product's meat, the paper. I now use the Leuchtturm1917 Classic Large Hardcover Notebook Dotted, which is both cheaper and of higher quality. br> Bindings are on an equal footing. The hardcover isn't as tough as the Boorum edition. Please accept my apologies, but the Leuchtturm paper is superior to B. P's has always been a good friend of mine. Make a list of what matters to you. br>br>Best wishes.

I've been using them professionally for nearly two decades. I work in research and development as well as manufacturing. These notebooks are the only ones that have stood up to daily use and abuse while maintaining their perfect binding. br>br>I upgraded to the quad version two years ago. I like the porous paper because it allows me to take quick notes. My only criticism of this edition is that, unlike the others, it does not include a book mark. Every year, I continue to purchase it. But, oh, how I wish they would read what I've written! They're the best notebooks I've ever had, and they look great on my bookshelf when I'm done with them.

During a consulting engagement, this journal has been in constant use for a few months. The lay- The flat binding, as well as the ruling and page count (especially if you write a lot), are ideal. In about a month, when my current journal appears to be paged out, I plan to replace it with an identical one. I'm tired. I've never used page numbering or a built-in table of contents in the front of a book before (which this one does). This record book / engineering journal is designed to be both a useful, functional business tool and an archival record, and I can strongly recommend it if your work requires these features.

These blank books from Boorum are one of my favorites. Pease. I keep one at my desk at all times and use it to keep track of my notes. This system ensures that all of my notes are available and easily accessible in chronological order, which I use for journaling, taking notes at conferences, or while viewing noteworthy content online, among other things. Previous books are neatly stacked on a shelf in my office, where they are easily accessible. br>br>I've started ordering ahead of time so that when I finish one book, I'm ready to start the next. They're of excellent quality. br>br> I've carried them in backpacks, suitcases, and other awkward situations, but they've never shown any signs of wear. br>br>The pages are numbered and lined, and despite the fact that the specifications state 150 pages, each of the books I've received when ordering this item has 160 numbered pages plus a blank 2-page spread. At the front, there is a double-sided table of contents page.

These are, in my experience, very durable and useful as scientific logbooks, with thick covers that can withstand abuse. I've been using them for about 8 years, and I'm still looking for an electronic alternative to writing on paper that's as satisfying.

Made in the United States of America, this product is of the highest quality. I bought this book to keep all of my family's recipes in one place rather than strewn about on scraps of paper in a drawer. Most recipes can be printed on a single sheet rather than flipping through pages because of the larger pages. The book is of the highest quality in every way and well worth the money; with proper care, I have no doubt it will last long after I am gone. The only thing that disappointed me was the fact that the index is only one page long; For a book with 150 pages, a two-page index would be far more appropriate.
