Is the actual folder 14 3/4" in size? How wide is the folder's metal hanger? My existing hangars are 15 3/4" by 15 3/4" by 15 3/4" by 15 3/4" by 15 3/4" ?

The folder's metal carrying portion is 15 3/4" wide from outside to outside, while the cardboard/paper portion is 14 5/8" wide.

The hanging rods appear to be sturdy enough to hold even heavy documents. There are no internal pockets and the color is as expected. This is a good deal, especially if you need a large number of hanging folders. You could pay more for fewer folders, but why would you when you can get them in two days with Amazon Prime? or, if you live in a big city with Amazon warehouses and delivery trucks, maybe in a day, along with that bottle of pool chlorine stabilizer, Roku Express, and Litter Genie refills!.

Given the negative feedback on similar products from national brands that have been around for decades, I would gladly recommend Blue Summit Supplies' hanging file folders. The paper is a good weight, and even when loaded with a lot of paper, they don't buckle. Product and seller are both highly recommended.

These folders are fantastic! They're sturdy and thick. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the tabs that come with these folders fit perfectly with Freedom Filer tags after deciding to redo my entire filing system with the Freedom Filer System (which you can also buy on Amazon). I would strongly suggest it.
