My folders are just the right size based on my measurements Approximately 11-inch x 17-inch paper is used in the folder On top of the metal bar is a 12-inch metal bar that is 3/4 inch wide Here is a picture of 3/4 inches wide. As long as your rails are 13 inches apart, these folders should fit perfectly.
Neither is the same color as the other. It's clear to see.
There are hanging files that are what I consider letter size they are not legal size. A pad of paper fits nicely in them. Hope this helps. They seem to be closest to 8 1/2 x 11 inches, which is considered letter size.
Each of the files has a tab on each side to hang in the The tabs provide you with an opportunity to attach to the actual file. I hope this helps.

It was in flawless condition when they arrived. It costs $9. 00. For 99 cents for 25 Smead File Folders, I thought it was a great deal. In an office supply store, it would be difficult to make an equitable purchase. Colour | The Jewel Toned Collection includes a total of 25 folders in 5 assorted colors (5 colors x 5 folders of each). All of the colors I chose were appealing to me. You can pick one of these clothes out without worrying about them being overly feminine or masculine or tied to a specific theme. Or, to put it another way, they're colorfully neutral! FILES MATERIALS | The paper stock is satisfactory. As far as I can tell, the paper is thick enough to meet the demands of typical to heavy filing. In spite of its fragility, it is sturdy enough to retain I personally received all of mine without any signs of wear and tear. It is NOT possible to slide around on them. Depending on where the folders are held up, I have found that they hold up on both stationary hanging file cabinets as well as bars inside desk drawers designed for hanging. In the box they came in, I found that the original packaging kept these folders in perfect condition. The box was packed with air pockets, and the air pocket wrapping was used to keep it safe. Neither the labels nor the tabs are impressive to me. Plastic tabs that are extremely thin are used as tabs. As the plastic is translucent, I much prefer it over coordinating the color of the file (as it makes it difficult to see the writing on the labels). However, they are flimsy and not very effective. A total of 25 tabs were included in In my opinion, there should ALWAYS be a couple of extras. The customer will appreciate a little cushion, because without a tab or other way to label the folders, they are practically useless. Smead, (hint, hint. Given the poor quality of the backup, I cannot imagine it would cost much to add a few more. There are many things worse than tabs, but the labels are surely even worse. My experience is that file folder labels are made of a long piece (or a few short pieces) of thick card-stock and contain perforated lines that can be easily torn off by hand. There was no evidence of this in this case. These 3 label strips included with the booklet were similarly flimsy and of poor quality as the tabs. There was no easy way to tear them. It is a clear Because I was afraid of ruining the paper strip, it took me longer than I expected to carefully tear apart each label. In terms of this area, there was one positive to report as the paper strips did provide enough material to create approximately 3 extra labels (which backs up my above point about giving the customer a little cushion). This means you have 3 chances to design an incorrect label before you have to find an alternative material. It was a bit tedious to detach the labels, but it was super easy to insert them into the tabs and install the combined components into the folders. Slots have precisely enough space for each color to be allocated a position without overlapping (5 slots The design of Smead Filing Folders don't seem to change intentionally, so I don't know if that was meant to be that way. I didn't think it would work out so well, but it did! The number of 25 folders also seems to be the right quantity for most filing cabinets. It fits perfectly in my desk drawer and also goes great with the mobile hanging filing unit I keep on top of my desk. Generally, I give these file folders a score of 5 out of 10 A shining star. folders themselves are very solid and I like how they look they are cosmetically appealing and neutral. Though the tabs and labels are of substandard quality, they remain well attached to the folder even if the tabs and labels are of poor quality and less than ideal.
File folders are not considered items of opinion by anyone, so why should they be? That's right. I have a question specifically regarding hanging file folders. Why are almost all hanging file folders How did that shade come about? How did that decision get made? I think its an okay color, but not something that will perk you up when you are filing documents which, let's face it, has to be one of the most boring jobs in the world. Take these file folders as an example. There are many nice colors to choose from, including purple, teal, grey, and maroon, which is a huge improvement over My family and I used these at home to organize our personal documents, and each member chose a different color. Having a place to put everything in each person's room will make life much easier. Another annoying thing about some hanging files is that the labels that come with them have to go in these plastic holders that are closed at the bottom, so you have to spend a lot of time pushing the labels into the holders and getting frustrated. I found it to be a small, but important thing, and it definitely improved my filing process. However, one thing that is still odd about the label packaging is that it comes in a strip that you have to A neat tear off is impossible with these. We'd love to just have pieces that are already cut for us The fact that I just waste time on that is unfortunate, because it is a very small point, and it is absurd that I just wasted two minutes of my life doing it. Buying is a good idea.
It's good to see that Smead is using stronger steel in their hanging folders. Many of the files I have bought in the past few years have come with a steel hanger that just collapses in a short period of time because the steel is so thin and flimsy. My wife and I took a chance on Smead products via amazon and bought these hanging files and honestly they didn't meet our expectations and we probably will return them. I was pleasantly surprised by the fact that they are far stronger than the other companies' products. Finally some quality is coming back. We have an attitude like a nation far away. Instead of buying from these other companies, I have gone through my parents' much older hanging files to reuse because the other companies were not made as well as these. It is my hope that Smead will continue to offer solid products. I just looked at their website and found out that they are a "woman owned" company with an eco-green conscience and a product made in the USA. Now that makes me look forward to my product purchase even more.
Okay, granted, they are hanging files, so there is not much to say. It is a slightly warmer shade in person The color taupe is similar to The tabs and paper inserts are smooth, no rough edges, and came with a lot of plastic tabs. In the image, the bottoms are not clearly visible, but they are Three of them are described in the following Four places on the file can be folded over so that more paper fits inside. This was an excellent purchase for me, and if I need more I will be back to purchase more right away.
It works perfectly, but they are more of a beige color than the grey shown The bag appears to be almost like a brown paper lunch bag, but it is a little lighter in weight.
In the end, the labels worked out best, are nice and sturdy, and come with labels. It was very annoying to have to scatter the folders containing the same color in order to get all of the color I needed due to the same color folders being mixed.
I am a big fan of the coordinated office supplies. Due to lack of tabs, I was not able to submit a sufficient number of submissions. Originally I was going to return, but I would rather have some tabs mailed to me instead. They would definitely get a 5 out of 5 if it weren't for As for the colors of the file folders and the folder I chose, I really like them. The open shelving in my home office is made more interesting by this addition.
