I was extremely disappointed that I was unable to print them. They must be used in a typewriter, according to the Maco website. They do not provide a printer template. I would not have bought them if I had known about it. I bought them to put on manila file folders, but they're useless unless I handwrite each label. Because I freeze a lot of food, they work well as freezer labels. However, I am still missing the black file folder labels that I require.
Black was written on the card. I was under the impression that it was all black, but it's just a black strip across the top.
They perform as expected; They could benefit from a little more adhesive, but they're fine.
They are successful.
I ordered a few packs of these because I needed black file folder labels, and Avery had stopped making them a few months ago. A previous buyer told me that these were the same size and dimensions as Avery's (which they aren't). I contacted MACO to see if they could help me find a template that would work with Avery's label template. They responded by saying that these labels are designed for typewriters and should not be used with laser or inkjet printers. I tried printing them in my printer out of curiosity, but the labels peeled. If you're looking for a cheaper alternative to Avery's File Folder labels, these will suffice if you don't plan on printing them. Typewriters or handwriting are the only options.
In our office, these are very useful.
