No, it doesn't work that way. Speedball Calligraphy nibs, available on Amazon, are what I use.
Selected User Reviews For Tachikawa Comic Pen Nib Holder T-40PW
So I had no idea this pen was just a plastic version of the light blue grip wood T40 pen-- It reminded me of painted wood for some reason. Also, I assumed it came with a cap, and based on some of the reviews, it appears that it should have? I was looking for a second capped T40 pen in a different color than my current one so I could color-code it. I was hoping to avoid buying another light blue and a T36 and giving the cap to the T36 for travel because that would leave me with two identical pens at home (which defeats the purpose of color-coding). However, it's possible that this is the only option.
It fits my calligraphy nibs as well as comic nibs. Because the wooden one is more prone to splitting and breaking, I prefer this one.
What's not to like? Well, maybe if you have a small hand and don't like the grip's diameter. It appeals to me.
It's easy to draw and write with this pencil because it's light and comfortable. This is preferable to the Model 40 in my opinion. This grip is more comfortable to hold, and the nib is protected by a cap.
These nib holders are well-made. They come with a cap and can be used with both regular inking nibs and very small "mapping" nibs.
The inking points of your choice are securely held in place. A solid pen holder, to be sure.
Design with a lot of bulk. br>It's not worth returning, but I'm not going to buy it again.
This nib holder fits a wide range of nib sizes, is comfortable to hold, and - here's the best part - it's free! It comes with a cap, so you can store it with the nib posted and not kill anyone (or yourself). But here's the icing on the cake: So you don't lose your cap, the cap POSTS on the pen while you write! The cap posts securely because of a tiny spot inside the tip. It appeals to me.
