Questions & Answers

Is it possible to refill them?

No, but they're great pens that last a long time, and they're my favorite!

What's the best way to get your ink off my clothes?

WIPES FOR YOUR BABY! The cap fell off the pen on the cloth seat of my brand new car, which had only been driven 200 miles. I burst out laughing. Warning: Things will APPEAR to get worse before they improve. Patience is a virtue that cannot be overstated. The blue will first spread out a little. However, the ink is being diluted. Throw away the baby wipes once they have turned blue. Use fresh wipes as needed. It will completely eliminate all traces of the blue ink. Just keep moving forward. Before I ran out of baby wipes, I had used almost the entire travel pack. Now, even though my baby is 40, I never leave the house without a pack in my glovebox.

Is it possible to write on the white frame portion of instant photos (Polaroid, Fujifilm Instax) without smearing with this pen?

If you want to write on a smooth glossy surface, you should use a permanent pen, such as a Sharpie or something similar.

Is there a "soft grip" on this pen, or is it completely made of hard plastic?

This is a pen made of hard plastic. But because it's so light, I have no trouble holding it or using it.

Only pilot aficionados know what I'm talking about
5/5

I am. I'm a snob when it comes to writing implements. That was my point. In my office, I simply must have nice pens. My purse, my room, and the kitchen Basically all over. I'm looking for a pen that's as smooth as buttah. I'm looking for a pen with such a fine point that I can write in all caps on a spreadsheet with cells that start with a. 15 inches tall. Because of this, I require a pen that is simple to use. Let's face it, we're all lying to ourselves. My hand cramps easily, and I can't stand being around people who are negative. This pen. This pen is so good that it has been handed down through the generations. Yes. generations of people When I was a kid, my father would constantly use these pens. In fact. . The days I didn't see him without one were few and far between. When I was younger. . . The distinctions between a Pilot and a BIC were incomprehensible to my feeble little mind. I used to believe that a pen was just that: a pen. What makes one pen superior to another? I used to be so naive. Now I'm fully awake. I've come to terms with the fact that there is a bright side to everything. Now it's MY turn to hold the pen. not the same as my father's The torch has been passed to me, and I consider myself fortunate to be in the presence of gods. Yes. It was something I stated earlier. Using this pen is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. At the same time, it is serene, peaceful, powerful, and bold. I'm always on the lookout for people who are using this pen. I just look at them with a knowing expression on my face. Our gazes only meet for a split second. But that was at the time. when the entirety of the world vanishes We're both pen lovers, so I've seen their soul and they've seen mine. Ink and a fine point tip bind it together. I know, it's scandalous. You, on the other hand, would never do such a thing. You'd have no idea what I'm talking about. How could you possibly do that? You have no idea how you could possibly comprehend. . . You use. well. you use. a BIC.

Rolling downhill in a precise manner
3/5

Normally, I try to write Amazon reviews that are sparkling, witty, and unique, but in this case, I'll simply repeat what so many others have said: something terrible has happened to my lifelong favorite pen. br>(sad face emoji)br>(weeping emoji)br>(keening emoji)br>(rending of garments emoji)br>I first discovered Pilot V Precise roller balls in college, and I've never looked back. Their perfect, clean, skipless lines inspired me to do even more of what I already wanted to do, with even more zeal: Taking notes, journaling I was taking notes, corresponding, sketching, drawing, doodling, and repeatedly writing Ross Buckman's name in the margins of my notebooks, surrounded by nicely-knitted words. little shaded hearts (the Pilot Precise was also Ross's favorite pen! SWOOOON! br>I've used these pens ever since, and believe me when I say that's a long time because I'm getting old. br>br>However, the box of Pilot Precise pens I received is NOT what I expected, leading me to wonder if it's a knockoff or if Pilot has simply gone downhill. So far, every pen I've fired up from this box has either started skipping and exhibiting inconsistent ink flow almost immediately, OR has started out fine but quickly became "used up" (which shouldn't be the case - see below). In two or three weeks, I shouldn't be able to finish a pen! The pens have a scratchier feel to them than usual, and the lack of flow and give makes writing difficult. Is it possible that my entire box is about to dry out? br>br>I'm not sure, but it makes me sad to think that my monogamous relationship with Pilot Precise roller balls is coming to an end. I've switched to a different pen already. It's just an ordinary Clip Click ballpoint pen that doesn't write particularly well or inspire me in any way, but it writes consistently and doesn't hurt my hand, which is all that matters when it comes down to it. But what about Pilot Precise? I have no idea what the Clip Click means. br>Throughout the day, I'm thinking of you.

It was necessary to fly with a full box of my favorite pen
5/5

It was a good lesson. Because this is my favorite pen, when my partner brought me a box of them on his visit, we discovered a clever trick. Traveling with them is always a challenge for me. When I try to use them once they arrive at their destination, they leak all over my fingers. However, because Google has access to all information, We picked up a few tips along the way. You risk losing an entire box of beautiful pens if you don't follow them (as I have in the past). Remove your cap before boarding the plane. ish and place them in a cup or box on their sides, if desired. This balances the pressure and saves your must-have pens! What a fantastic trick to pick up, and I'm overjoyed that they all arrived intact!.

These pilots require a higher level of precision
3/5

For at least 20 years, I've been using this particular brand and model of pen. I've grown to rely on the Pilot Precise, but after purchasing my most recent box and reading some of the other complaints in the reviews here, I'm starting to wonder if I should start looking for a more dependable replacement. The vast majority of the pens in my collection write smoothly at first, but then, for no apparent reason, the ink flow becomes lighter and lighter until I'm practically scratching the paper. It's the same thing that would happen if the ink in the pens ran out. However, they aren't close to running out of ink. This is obviously aggravating because you have no way of knowing when it will occur. As a result, not only will your workflow be disrupted, but your work will also be illegible. Most other pens I've tried in the past have either had too heavy an ink flow or performed like a Bic, which means they're good enough for jotting down a few notes but not something I'd want to write with for any length of time. The Pilot Precise have been a must for me over the years, which is probably the only reason I'm still giving this product a 3-star rating. Although I gave it a five-star rating, quality control appears to have taken a serious hit.

My favorite pens did not impress me this time, and when they arrived days later and separately from other items that had been boxed and sent together, I knew and suspected something was wrong with them
3/5

Both, by the way, had product or product container damage. But it's nothing to write home about. At first, the box of pens arrived smashed in a letter blister pack. Okay, I said. There is no problem because the pens do not appear to be damaged. That was not the case when I began writing with them and the ink ran, blotted, and clotted at the tip, and, to make matters worse, the ink stopped flowing while I was writing. It's a huge pain. I'm hoping the entire box isn't identical. I've been using these pens for a long time, and they might as well be thrown away.
