Questions & Answers
The clip is a nice touch, but it doesn't stay attached to the pen very well and falls off. Because the pen is identical to the bullet space pen, the clip is an afterthought.
No, the clip can be removed; I'm not sure why they made it that way, but it slides on and fits snugly, but it isn't secured. I was tired of it falling off, so I just used crazy glue to keep it in place. It performs admirably.
The only one who refills is the fisherman.
Black appears to be the standard ink color.

I have two of these, one in chrome and the other in black. The chrome one is tucked into my wallet and, at worst, sat on; the black one, on the other hand, is kept in my car with an EDC sheath that holds the pen, a knife, and a flashlight in a cubby in the dash. When you consider that I have it in my car every day in Arizona during the summer, it doesn't seem all that special. when the temperature outside reaches 115 degrees Fahrenheit 120F (46- This pen has been in the hot car for a few months at 48 degrees Celsius during the hottest part of the year. I had completely forgotten about this pen being in the car until it occurred to me the other day that it was there, so I tried it out and discovered that none of the ink had dried up. It was just as smooth as my chrome pen when it came to writing. In the warmer months of California, I've had bic pens leak ink and fine roller pens dry up. After a few months in a hot car for 60-plus hours, this one is still ticking. Continuously for 90 days. I'll check again in the winter to see if it still works, but I have a feeling it will. br>br>Creative+ paraphrase: I recently discovered the first black version I misplaced (which I replaced with the chrome version, and then with the second black version that now sits in my car). My washer's ring was full of it. So, despite not being able to separate it (the clip is rusted, so it's probably the same inside), I was able to unscrew it and the pen refill still works. There were no signs of ink leaking, so I'm not sure how many clothes were washed with it. When submerged several times, it clearly works. It'd be fantastic if I could just separate the top and bottom halves. br>br>Edit No. 2 I recently dismantled it. It continues to work flawlessly.
This pen can be used to write on almost any surface. Even though it sticks out a little, I keep it clipped to the crease of my wallet. Because it rubbed against the cardboard behind it, the pen arrived with scratches on the inside of the packaging. But it makes no difference to me. Without the cap attached to the back of the pen, it's impossible to write. The pen is too narrow to be comfortable for long writing sessions even when the cap is posted. It's something you can keep in your car or purse so you always have something to write with and don't have to worry about what kind of paper you need.
I was a little nervous when I first took it out of the package because it's very small/compact with the cap covering the tip, but when you take it out to write with it and put the cap on the other end, it expands out perfectly to fit my larger hands. br>br>Because I'll be using this as an everyday carry (EDC) pen, it's exactly what I'm looking for! The only reason for four stars is that the ink isn't very heavy, but it's still adequate for everyday use.
I like to keep a pen in my pocket at all times, and this one will fit nicely in there. Others must rise and obstruct the process. I bought it because I was tired of drawing circles to get a cheap pen to work; this one works the first time and every time, even when it's cold. I've had these in the past, but I always seem to lose them. So I got the one with the clip; I don't use it, but it prevents it from sliding out of my pocket or rolling off a flat surface when I'm sitting. It is not my go-to source of information. When I'm at home or at work, I don't use it because it doesn't feel quite right in my hand, despite the fact that it's the same length as other pens with the cap on.
A LOT OF ROOM! In this price range, I would choose this over a Cross or a Parker. Pocket-sized, it can write on almost anything, anywhere, and in any weather. This is the second one I've purchased, and both have performed admirably.
This pen is awesome because it writes so smoothly and fits in any pocket or hand, and the history of these pens alone makes the purchase worthwhile.
For years, I've been carrying around a Fisher Bullet Space Pen. Its compact size and bullet shape are two of its main draws for me. When I don't want a pen in my shirt pocket or there isn't one, the pen fits perfectly in the pocket of my pants or jeans without punching a hole. When I use the instrument in public, it seems to draw a lot of positive attention. People are either familiar with it or want to learn more about it. br>br>Unfortunately, because of its sleek design and small size, it's easy to misplace: I had one for nearly five years before losing it, along with two others, in the same year. I've managed to keep it by clipping it to the bill separator in my wallet. br>br>The ink cartridge is pressurized, allowing you to write on dirty surfaces (or at odd angles if you prefer). This is a useful but dubious benefit, as the ink in most of the refills I've tried leaks very slightly under pressure after a while. I believe Fisher may offer a non-leaking refill. Although the pen comes with a pressurized cartridge, it also comes with a pressurized refill. Aside from that, the pen writes well and does not smear unless you rub one of the leak "blobs" I mentioned earlier. br>br>I'm sure there are other "pocket pens" out there, but the Fisher is a compact, useful, and serviceable pen that's also great for travel.
This pen appears to be quite impressive. And it writes even better than I anticipated. After reading all of the reviews and watching the videos, I assumed this pen would be terrible to write with and would only be used in an emergency. Given all of the conditions under which it can work, it actually writes quite well. This book comes highly recommended.
