Questions & Answers

How do I get the package open? I can open the top, but the lead is stuck inside. Isn't it reasonable to expect the bottom to move?

The sharpener is housed in the short cover, which is a little counterintuitive. Simply unsnap the top of the long part and slide it down toward the short part, bringing the two arrows together to remove the leads. If you tip it, the leads will emerge from the top of the long part!

Is anyone aware of the purpose of the black cap found in the smaller compartment?

That smaller cap, by the way, is for the lead holder itself. You swap out the metal cap in the small compartment for the one in the big one. It's designed to color-code lead hardness so you know what you're working with.

Is it possible to use these refills with Staedtler 925 2mm pencils?

The 925 2mm lead holders can, in fact, use them. Just be sure to use the 925 25-minute timer. 05 or the 925 25-minute time limit There are five lead holders.

Is this graphite (lead) or carbon (charcoal)? I'm a little confused by the "carbon lead" label on the package. ?

To me, they resemble graphite (pencil lead). Unless the translation from German uses "carbon" for black, I'm stumped as to why the labels are labeled the way they are. Charcoal is not an option.

Leads of the highest possible quality
5/5

The 'carbon' lead line from Staedtler is the best 2mm lead option I've found so far. It has a good range of lead grades, minimal graphite shine, isn't too brittle, and the colored pencil caps that come with each pack are useful (as opposed to writing the lead grade on tape wrapped around your pencil!). You've got the perfect drawing setup when you combine them with their Technico 780 lead holders and rotary lead pointer. I'll buy more if the quality stays consistent.

They are fantastic
5/5

I'm not an engineer; I'm a visual artist. I bought these leads as well as a Mars Technico leadholder to see how they worked in my drawings. I've since ordered a few more leadholders and will be buying lead in sizes ranging from 2H to 4B, and I'm not sure I'll ever use another type of pencil. They are simply wonderful; both the best and the worst of both worlds I can use the side of the lead to shade a large area, just like a regular pencil, or I can draw and hatch very precisely. Because only the lead needs to be sharpened, I don't have to worry about disposing of pencil shavings, and the little rotary sharpener is fantastic - Yes, I received one of those as well. They have a pleasant weight in the hand, maintain a consistent length, and come in bulletproof holders. I can't think of anything I don't like. They're fantastic.

I used this product for pen and ink drawings and found it to be very reliable
5/5

For roughing out my drawings, I use the 4H lead. I use the HB to lay down the final lines that will appear in the finished drawing after I have completed my main drawing. This is also how I add small details. After that, I go over any lines I drew with the HB with my inks. br>br>I have two Staedtler 2mm lead holders, one for 4H and the other for HB, in my setup. I sharpen my pencils with a Staedtler Lead sharpener. I use a white plastic eraser from Staedtler as well as an eraser shield. br>br>I use the Micron for inking. 01, . 005, . The Pentel Fude XFL2F and Fude XFL2L are also among the tools I use.

Good
5/5

Good. I had no idea how to open the case because it was the first time I had purchased or used this type of lead in a lead holder. I know it sounds silly, but I didn't want to break anything, so I figured out how to slide the face upwards by pressing on the tiny blue piece under the case.

Refill leads are fantastic
5/5

durable and long-lasting! What can I say, they're pencil leads made for a Staedler Mars 2 mm pencil lead holder. If you're going to use these leads, you'll also need a Staedler Mars lead pointer. So keep that in mind when ordering these leads; you'll need both the lead holder and the pointer, but if you already have everything and just need refills, these are great; they last a long time and work well for drawing and illustration.

I'm currently replenishing my supply of 2mm lead
5/5

I'm not going to give stars for softness (if I poke myself with these, it hurts!) or durability (all pencil leads break!). )br>Apart from that, for drafting and art work, I used 2mm leads in a pencil clutch. br>I used to have a lot of this brand and never had any issues with it.

Quality that is dependable
5/5

These lead wires are of exceptional quality. I've never noticed any of the burrs or flaws that I've seen on cheaper brands. I use them in both the Steadler and Prismacolor lead holders because they sharpen to a nice point and draw a great line.

Excellent product that adheres to the grading standards
3/5

Leads of poor quality or those that have been abused during shipments or in the store have been dropped. I believe the leads were broken in the storefront because the plastic case had numerous chipped and fractured areas. I bought another item with my company's name on it, and it was identical to the first. This product should be avoided at all costs, in my opinion.
