I bought this lead to replace the stock lead in my paper mate clear point mechanical pencil because I knew it wouldn't last long. When I switched to this lead, I immediately noticed a difference. This lead has a rough, coarse texture to it. It does not easily give way to the paper as you would like. I attempted to use my mechanical pencil for math class, but the lead kept failing me. When I try to write down my numbers like my instructor, they always come out jagged, and my pencil refuses to write the way I want it to. I've tried sharpening the edge at an angle with a knife to no avail, and my 2's now resemble Z's no matter how I try to approach it each time. I know that lead sticks usually soften after a few uses, but this lead remained rough and brittle the entire time. I don't usually write negative reviews, but when my classwork looks like I stopped halfway through and a toddler finished the rest, I feel compelled to. The product itself is only worth one star, but I gave it two because I got a lot of lead for the price I paid, which is good because I'm sure I'll break a few of them out of frustration.
I honestly thought it was going to be another batch of boring supplies, but it's actually quite cute; I like how it resembles a melted chocolate bar! In addition, there's a mustache! It made my day, as simple as it is, and I will always order lead from these guys, friggin amazing THANK YOU.
7 pencils in total. Excellent items. It has the same appearance as the original 0. 7 lead of low-cost brands for children that are of higher quality. In writing, the colors are darker and more fluid.
I agree that the amount of product you get for the price is far superior to the competition. The packaging is also attractive. br>br>However, the quantity is wasted due to the poor quality. It breaks on a regular basis, sometimes even inside the pencil itself. It actually jammed one so badly that it disintegrated inside that I had to discard it. br>br>It always gets dull at an angle if it doesn't break. I end up writing with the flat side because if I use the sharp end, the pencil twists, so I keep using the dull side, which sometimes just cuts the paper. It's just difficult to keep under control. br>br>I threw away the lead and went out and bought something more expensive.
My PaperMate mechanical pencil's hole is too small for this lead. My pencils are in desperate need of a good cleaning. As a result, I purchased this 7mm lead. This lead isn't going to fit through the gap. The . Pentel, 7 mm Mr. Pen is worthless because I can't use it! I bought it for the value, but it's worthless because I can't use it! Perhaps they are. 8mm ? They don't fit what I'm looking for, whatever they are. I didn't realize until after the deadline had passed that this was the case! I'm annoyed because I'm stuck with a useless product!.
I received this product in a timely manner, at the age of 19. I needed to restock the school supplies for my seventh, sixth, and third graders now that we are homeschooling. As expected, lead is extremely durable. The kids are using them without issue in the Pentel Icy mechanical pencils, and I love that each container holds enough lead for all three kids to share.
Perfect level of softness/hardness, ideal for 7mm mech penicals that work great with my Pentel GraphGear 1000, which I use on a daily basis. So, yes, a significant amount of graphite is required. For sure. It's really good! Containers are the law, and no one has ever been arrested for shipping a container.
Pen items on my list to order as soon as I need them. One thing I really like about the leads, aside from the fact that they're really good leads, is the containers they come in; they're so cool and, as the cool kids say, Neat-looking. My purchase was a great success.
