Hello, no, the 2b pencil is softer. Kind regards, Poppy br>Kind regards, Poppy br>Kind regards, Poppy br>Kind regards, Poppy br>Kind regards, Poppy br>Kind regards, Poppy br>Kind regards, Poppy br>

Yes, they usually erase everything without leaving a trace. Because the leads are so soft, they will smudge. I've found the 2hb to be the most difficult of the five. 6mm is less likely to smudge. The 5. Six leads are better suited to sketching than writing.

The plastic case these came in was crushed when I opened the bag they were sent in; there was no box. I kept the lead because it appeared to be in good shape. After that, I made use of one of them. Wow. Definitely more difficult than 2B, with a hard, scratchy feel. I tried writing with it for a second, thinking it was just rough on the outside, but it wasn't the case. Even when I'm just writing, I use 2B exclusively, so I'm well aware of how soft it should be. These are a bit of a disaster.
I have a lead holder and was in need of more of the 5. Variety of 6 mm. And they had to be in the 2B soft lead range. These will be ideal for my studies in life drawing. I'll purchase more with softer leads in order to obtain darker shades. The product was packaged in a plastic bag with a plastic case. It arrived in perfect condition.
The line is nice and dark, and the durability is good. This is a fantastic addition to my art supply collection. Despite the fact that the holder includes a built-in sharpener, the lead's size allows me to slide it into a regular pencil sharpener and get a really nice, long point.
I've got enough lead to last me until I'm forced to stop building.
For sketching, it's ideal.
I received exactly what I had requested. The item was exactly as described on the website, and it arrived promptly. It does exactly what it says.
I'm just happy to have enough material to continue drawing and sketching.
