A paper finish is a map that is printed on paper, laminated, and then sealed with a protective lamination to give it a poster-like appearance. I hope you find this information useful.
Yes, it's easy to read and understand. This is a lovely map. We've just hung it on the wall because it tears more easily than we expected. Our goal was to help 8th grade students with geography, and it turned out to be a huge success.

This was purchased for my 9-year-old son, who enjoys learning about different countries. We hung it in the hallway just outside the bathroom, and my kids haven't complained about brushing their teeth for two minutes since then. They are brushing their teeth and looking at the map at the same time. Every time we walk past it, we notice something new. My son said to me last week, "Mom, did you know that China shares its border with 14 countries?" That was fantastic, in my opinion.
Even thumbtacks are an option for me. This map does an excellent job of serving the purpose for which I bought it. The map has excellent quality. If you're using a grease pencil or a dry erase pen, the map's coating will come in handy. br>br> I strongly suggest this product.
The map was well-protected during delivery, with a tube and box. Nice size, and it stays uncurled better than a map laminated on both sides (this one is laminated on the front). It's something we use in class.
It arrived in a tube, so I spread it out with something on top to flatten it out after it was rolled up, then hung it the next day. I also like that I can write on it with white markers, and yes, I tested it. br>It includes cities in Asia that many other maps do not. br>One thing I couldn't find before buying it was the date it was printed - In 2017, it was updated!.
As soon as I got my map, I hung it up. I was interested in the layouts of foreign countries, which is fine and helps me figure out where Zambia is in relation to Somalia, but the USA section is lacking. I haven't been able to locate New England on a map. I didn't want to make a choice between two countries. I guess I'll have to order a more colorful and detailed map of the United States on my own.
The world map is significantly larger than my previous one, making it much easier to identify and read the world's major cities. Its vibrant colors stand out, making it easy to identify countries around the world. Furthermore, since my last world map, which was published in 1988, there have been a lot more political upheavals. It's laminated, which means it'll last a lifetime. For someone like me who is passionate about world geography and enjoys looking at maps, this is an excellent investment. He spends his time reading and arranging maps in his room.
My only complaint is that I had no idea that getting a simple frame for it would cost eight or nine times as much as the map itself. I'll most likely make my own frame.
My class can't all sit together because the room is too small, but they can usually find the places we're looking for. Very long lasting!.
