Hello! Yes, that grammatical error has been fixed. Last month, Amazon received an updated map design that included the correct spelling. If you order this map today, you have a good chance of getting the new updated design with the correct spelling for like a 98% or 99% chance of getting the new updated design with the correct spelling for like There's a slim chance you'll get an older map because the new inventory was mixed with some of the older maps still in Amazon's warehouses at the time. As of now, the majority of the older design maps have been sold and shipped out- As a result, the chances of getting one of the older designs are slim to none. However, when I received it, I noticed that the country of New Zealand was misspelled as "New Zeland," which is a minor flaw in an otherwise excellent map.
Michigan was incorrectly depicted on one map with a black background, and the Great Lakes were completely absent. I chose to buy a popular black map that appeared to be more accurate, as shown in the photos- I'm including the photos to demonstrate the size difference; I was disappointed by the map's small size, and the scratch material was smudgy, so I quickly stopped scratching it. I went back to look and discovered this Wanderlust map, which is much nicer, more beautiful, and accurate as far as I can tell. This map is only a few dollars more expensive than the small black map, but the paper is thicker, it's more than twice the size, and it scratches much less easily. It's a much nicer product, and I'm glad I came across this map! It appeals to me.
My purchase, however, has disappointed me. First, the scratch tools were missing, despite the fact that the description stated that scratch tools and stickers were included. The map appears to be attractive in photographs, but when scratched, the colors are not as appealing to an adult; it appears to be a toy for children. I enjoy traveling and do so frequently. However, I noticed that some of the locations were missing from the map, so I was unable to scratch anything, which was disappointing. I was looking for something larger to hang on my living room wall, but this map is larger than I expected. It's quite large, and framing it on your wall would cost you $80. I tried to hang it on my wall with office pins, but it just didn't look right. Overall, I was pleased with my purchase, but I was disappointed when I saw it in person.
The map itself is fantastic, but framing it is a challenge for me. I bought it to use as a travel journal. I purchased a poster frame with a clear plastic overlay. I was able to complete the scratching process without difficulty, but I would not recommend using the small red tool - Some of the scratches were caused by a ten-year-old grandson who tried a little too hard. In my opinion, the red scraper is more than adequate. br>In the meantime, I framed the map, but when I hung it up, the plastic overlay wouldn't lay flat in some places, and the glare from the room's lights made it difficult to see. I made the decision to get rid of the plastic overlay. Because the frame's cardboard is very hard and firm, I decided that I wanted to be able to see the map without the plastic covering it up there on display. However, when I tried to frame it without the plastic, the poster frame's sliding bard slid off and won't stay on! Now I have to figure out how to keep the map flat with something all around the edges so that I can access it easily without being distracted by the overlay. I used the six double-sided glue dots that came with the kit, but it was clearly insufficient. It's still in the works.
I consider myself to be a well-rounded individual. I'm a well-traveled person, but when I look at my map, I see that there's still so much of the world to see! br>br>The map came with some nice stickers, but for the time being, I think I prefer the look of the map without them. This map was a breeze to scratch. I used a guitar pick for the majority of the project and a pen for the finer details. I recommend using the scratch pen with caution; don't use the sharp point to scratch the paper; instead, hold it at a 45 degree angle as directed by the instructions and it should work fine. br>br>I chose a 36 inch magnetic frame instead of a traditional frame to hang the map so that I wouldn't have to remove it from the frame to scratch more places in the future. This Amazon discovery has made my day!.
This map drew my attention because it was the most beautiful scratch-off map I'd ever seen on Amazon. It appeals to her. This map is very good quality at a great price, and it fits a standard size poster frame, which is a huge bonus! I think it looks beautiful on my blue wall in my office.
