Hello Natalie, This map is an A1 poster size, so it will fit in any standard A1 frame. Alice, best regards - Maps of the World
On my map, you can see national parks. I'm sure not all of the parks are listed, but I see the major ones.
Good afternoon,br>br>I can confirm that some parts of Canada are affected. Mexico is a scratchable country. Kind regards, Harry, br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>b
It is something I have never attempted to clean. I'd be concerned about the foil finish scratching off in areas where it hasn't yet been scratched off. If you put the map in a glass frame, you should be able to clean it without difficulty.

I bought this map in late 2016 as a gift for a travel-loving friend. For years to come, I'll be a loving wife. She was ecstatic to have a way to keep track of her quest to visit each of the 50 states. We recently visited some new states, and she was excited to scratch off some new places, but when she went to do so, the scratch-off board was broken. It was impossible to get the material off because it would not budge. Despite her best efforts, the scratching wore through the map rather than removing the scratch marks. removing the layer This is a lovely map that will spark a lot of discussion. Just don't count on it to last long.
This map appeals to me greatly. The revealed areas have a lot of detail in terms of highways and town names when compared to the others. It's not just a simple shape with a single color. The state names aren't overpowering, either, so the poster works well as a wall hanging. Although the size must be adjusted to fit a standard frame, the paper's quality compensates. Although the poster is delicate, I wish it was already mounted on a board or made of a thicker material, but I imagine you'll be fine if you frame it right away. To remove the foil, I used a coin. It's simple to remove, and the dust is easily swept away. The overall poster paper has a sheen to it, so scratching off the states doesn't leave marks on it. I'm going to buy these as x-mas presents. Xmas presents for others I am ecstatic.
If I had the option, I would give this a 0 out of 5 star rating. When we went to scratch Illinois, we discovered that there was nothing beneath it. Instead of the map that should be underneath, it now appears to be torn up paper. Very let down. Purchases should be avoided. br>br>Recent changes - We ended up having to replace the map with a completely different one a year after the review. There was no scratching on the entire left side. We chose the traditional push pin map instead of the scratch off because we didn't want to deal with the scratch off after this purchase.
I bought it so that I could keep track of all the states we've visited with the kids on family vacations. Scratching off the states is simple, and state lines are well defined. I like how all of the states under the scratch off are colored differently so that my young children can recognize them. The disadvantages include: It arrived with a few scratches in the gold part, which I suppose is to be expected, but which will most likely irritate me until we can scratch those states off. Also, the only frames I could find that would fit it were the cheap poster frames that come apart on each side. For the time being, that works as easy access to the scratch off, but it would be nice if it could fit into a standard frame size.
This was a few years ago when we bought it. We planned on scratching it off as we traveled across the country. We recently tried to scratch off a state and it didn't scratch off very well, so we tried a different scratcher, such as a different coin or a metal butter knife. br>br>Nothing scratched off nicely; it just peels the paper with the scratch off material. br>br>What's the point of buying one if it can't fulfill its function over time?.
After two years, there are still a lot of years ahead of us. I also purchased small push pins with which we will be able to identify specific cities. It's simple to scratch off and is quite large! Will fit nicely in a 24x36 frame; I'm not sure why so many people are upset about the size; it's a simple fix with a border.
This was a gift for one of my close friends who enjoys traveling and has visited many states across the United States. She recently rented office space, and I wanted her to have this piece in her office for two reasons: 1) it would fill her wall, and 2) it would be unique. 2) She was able to keep track of all of her numerous adventures. I'm definitely going to get one for myself soon(:.
The map itself is cool, but finding a frame to fit this thing is incredibly difficult. As it stands, we had to buy a frame that's a couple of inches long (top to bottom), which means we have to take out the glass, scratch it, and replace it when we want to add a new state, which is a pain. I'd like to be able to frame it and not have to worry about the glass.
