Questions & Answers
They are located at the bottom of my filing cabinet, with the tab extending above the file folders.
These are filing guides made of card board. A single, thick piece of cardboard on which you can write your topic(s) and use to separate groups of files from the next. They're quite pleasant.
They're tucked into the cabinet drawer's bottom. Although the tab extends above the manila folders in the drawer, the manila folders aren't in hanging files.
They include a paper label as well as a thin plastic cover that wraps around the label. The label/plastic cover is slid into the opening on the metal frame's side. It's a cinch to get in and out of. If you'd like, I can take a measurement of the paper label. I printed my organizing information on a Dymo label maker and adhered it to the paper label. The Dymo label was just the right size for the opening.

The size and material were both perfect. It was exactly what I needed and had been searching for for such a long time; Now I can work on my files the way I used to, hehehehehe. When someone goes through your files, they'll know where to replace that file, so you won't have to waste time searching the file drawer for it if it goes missing. Thank you, Amazon, for always having items that I can't seem to locate elsewhere.
This is exactly what I need to keep my ever-growing file cabinet in order. The guides are steadfast and are unlikely to "wilt" anytime soon. It's a nice touch to have caption inserts that can be replaced. Smead also makes pressboard guides that aren't protected by a metal tab. The metal tabs are much less likely to bend or misform, and I believe they are well worth the extra cost; however, I wish Smead would make a version of this product with all left-side tabs, as that would better suit my filing system. Despite this, it is a good product at a reasonable price.
By using divider tabs between the files, you can easily organize a file drawer. Instead of the middle (1/3) and side (2/3) tabs, it would be nice if you could get them all tabbed on one side.
I looked and looked and looked for what I was looking for, and I thought this was it. I was just about to start my new job when I realized it wasn't an accurate description.
They're exactly what I was looking for, and I'm very pleased with them. They're great for both home and business use, in my opinion.
I returned the folders because I had never ordered them and they were useless to me. I selected three stars to ensure that I was able to send this message.
I've been using these resources at home and at work for years. Especially for those of us who have more complex filing systems but aren't large enough to justify the cost of custom-made filing cabinets. These filing systems are fantastic. At a glance, you can see what the file sections are, and they're incredibly durable. Without them, I wouldn't have a filing system in my office or at home.
I've been assembling my genealogical hard copies and needed a way to sub-divide them. Separate folders according to their alphabetical titles. These blank file tab guides were just what the doctor ordered. I like that they're blank so I can write on the 1/3 cut tab or add a label to it. There are 100 semi-precious stones in this box. rigid file guide tabs, each centered left, middle, and right, with 30 tabs in total. For your filing needs, I would suggest these tabs.
