The surface can be repaired relatively quickly if it is relatively flat. It's very difficult to cut round or corner pieces. The material is extremely stiff.

I was very pleased with how well the Vinyl Mender Tear Mender worked. An outdoor furniture cover that I just bought got caught when it was getting wrapped around an object. In between buying a new cover (which would cost around $50) and buying a repair kit, I was unsure. As a result of reading the reviews, I purchased the album. A roll of Vinyl Mender tape proved to be the perfect solution. purchased the kit for around $12 and started working right away. After taking out the kit, the first step was to clean the repair area with alcohol wipes (which are included). Once that is done, cut the tape to fit the area that needs to be repaired, ensuring that it covers the tear AND leaves at least a 1" margin all around To finish, I had to scrape off the tape's backing. To fix the tear, place the tape over the tear, press down firmly and smooth over to remove any bubbles. It was by far the hardest step, so make sure that you (or someone you know) have nails where you can manage this step. there you have it! I hate this). As a bonus, The tape I've left over will be perfect to repair vinyl in the future!.

These tapes have been useful to me for repairing leather damage on my suitcases caused by airline companies. (So, apply carefully since it will be hard to remove once it is applied. ) It is strong and adheres well. Before the patch split, it worked well for about 3 months. Overlaid a patch on that the split occurred after a few months. While I am not riding my bike, it is always covered so there is no degradation caused by UV light.

I have a puppy that tears up the bottom of his playpen constantly My shirt was in danger of being thrown out due to these vinyl patches. It is very easy to adhere to them While they begin clear, they tend to become opaque after a while. That isn't a big deal though since they are waterproof and do what they're supposed to do.

It is disappointing to find that the tape does not stick to I struggled to pull the paper off when I tried to remove it. I was very frustrated, and I threw it all away in the end! I will have to look for something else to try.

My inground pool's clear vinyl mender was a great product and I used it on a small section. There is no limit to what you can do! It is very adhesive but there were only two patches, which was disappointing.

Patches like these lasted only a couple of months. In spite of the first placement and waiting a day before inflating, there is still some air loss. Recommend that you do not buy this product.
