br>I like the dual temperatures on this glue gun, and I find the trigger to be easy to use and control the amount of glue I need. br>At first, I used the 100w setting, which worked well for me because I was using it as a heat tool to soften the plastic so I could bend the joints of my little skeleton and then glue them in place with a tiny dab of glue. I realize this isn't the intended application for this glue gun, but it works better than the alternatives. br>When I reattached the arm of my skeleton in a different position, I discovered that the glue was so hot at 100w that it took a long time to cool, especially with me trying to hold the tiny pieces in place. br>The 100w setting held a strong bond once it was set, but I wanted to try the 60w setting. br>After a minute or so of cooling time, I attached the other arm in the same way, but with less cooling time, which meant less time holding the tiny pieces in place. br>I used the lower setting for this project from then on, and all of my pieces held together fine, but I found that the 100w was more effective at softening the plastic for repositioning the limbs. br>I'm impressed with how simple it is to use, especially on small pieces.
AND. I'm glad it didn't leak glue when I turned it on its side, as I had to do with my old glue gun.
AND. I'm a big fan of the small finger guards.
I received this gun a few weeks ago and it had dripped and refused to stay in the stand; the seller contacted me and generously sent me a replacement, which works perfectly. It does not leak, and the base stand is extremely useful. It has two heat settings, which I really like. Because this one is so good, the first one had to be defective. The seller was extremely accommodating and accommodating. I would strongly advise you to use this glue gun for all of your craft projects.
I'm pleased to report that I absolutely adore this glue gun! It doesn't drip, which is the best part! It also fits comfortably in my hand, with a very precise trigger for releasing the glue. I like that it comes with a stand that I can use to keep it upright while I'm using it. The fact that it came with finger protectors made me very happy. This glue gun gets 5 out of 5 stars from me, and I'd give it more if I could. Thank you so much for everything.
For my craft projects, I currently have two glue guns. One is a kickass type of person. Although one of them stands and the other does not, I always find it difficult to use them because they keep falling over. Because I can set it down without it falling over and burning things, this Monvict glue gun has greatly improved the speed with which I complete my DIY projects. It also frees up my hands. In the package, I also received some glue sticks, which I dislike. More webs form as a result of the glue, which I am unable to handle. Glue guns are great, but glue sticks aren't so much. Overall, the glue gun is a great value for the money.
I have average-sized hands, and this feels very comfortable and simple to use. Whether you're using the pull-string or not, it's sturdy and won't topple over. either the metal or the plastic (removable) holder. It has two heat settings, but I find that the 80 watt setting is best for my crafting needs. Although glue sticks are included, I prefer to use a clear stick so that the glue does not show through certain items. It also has rubber finger protectors, which I adore!.
This glue gun is far superior to the one I used previously. It's not too heavy. The trigger is extremely easy to squeeze (my old one hurt my hand) and does not drip. The stand performs admirably and is simple to take apart. I'm glad I purchased a dual temperature glue gun because I thought I'd need the high setting to glue some fiberglass screen mesh to the backside of my HVAC air vent covers. This proved to be too hot, as holding it there for a few seconds melted the screen. I finally settled on the lower setting, which worked perfectly. I'm not sure if the low setting would make other projects too hot. The hot glue did a little stringing, but it wasn't too bad.
I've also used it successfully for a number of small repair jobs. I like how light it is, how quickly it heats up, how little it drips, and how well it feeds. The included glue sticks are fine, and the silicone finger protectors, if you can get them on the right fingers, do a good job. Because it's difficult to tell the difference between the 100W and 60W settings, I mostly used 60W. br>The stand is pretty useless unless you want to put it on display. The flip- The down wire thingy is fine, but it gets in the way if it isn't flipped up when in use. When putting the gun away when not in use, it is not very stable. Overall, it is excellent value for money.
br>br>I'm so glad I found this glue gun because of the positive reviews. It's absolutely fantastic! The two heat settings are great, and the hot glue goes on smoothly. The nozzle does not drip and the trigger does not require much pressure. It's also very quick to heat up. br>br>It's absolutely perfect; it's by far the best hot glue gun I've ever bought. This purchase has made me extremely happy.
