I'd say about half a cup.
I'd say 3 is about right for a typical quarter-size stamp. If you have a smaller than average stamp, such as a dime size stamp, you can use less. 2 beads. However, I believe that using more beads results in a more effective stamp.
I usually leave it on for about a minute and a half. Because the stamps I use are brass, going through and making an indentation in the wax is already a difficult task.

These are the beads I'll be using for Christmas. To make the seal shown, I combined them with another brand of white. This product comes highly recommended by me.

These are fantastic. These wax melts are fantastic! For my wedding invitations, I've been looking for the perfect shade of blue. And I'm really pleased with how they turned out! br>The red has a metallic sheen to it. I was looking for the classic matte dark red of old school seals, but this one works just fine. br>br>I did a lot of testing and found that 2 pieces was just right for me! 3 is better because it gives you more room for error, but 2 is ideal if you can get it in a good even circle and center the stamp properly so you get the full impression.
For the perfect seal, I finally decided on three pieces. I used them for wedding invitations, and I'm thinking about using them for Christmas cards as well. The metallic sheen was appealing to me. I wished I'd bought a stand for the spoon to rest on because the seals stayed on in the mail and it arrived in one piece. It was exhausting to work on a large number of envelopes at once! Before it hardened, I simply wiped out the excess wax in the spoon with a paper towel.
These waxes were fantastic! When stamped, all three colors have a gold sheen to them, which looks fantastic. When you use the spoon, it turns black and the handle gets warm. Because the wax is flammable, any drips on the spoon's outside should be avoided. If you're working on a large project, I'd recommend using these with the window open.
In the scorching heat of Texas, my package was locked in a parcel locker for two and a half weeks. I was ordering wedding invitations and was concerned that they would be melted by the time I received them. They weren't melted, and they were still in bead form, which was a pleasant surprise! I'm in a state of disbelief. I was astounded. This wax has to be of exceptional quality. I'm really looking forward to seeing how my invitations turn out.
I absolutely adore the color, but the colors are never labeled, and the company name is not on the product, making it difficult to reorder. It's a shame, because I'm sure I'll want more at some point.
Worth it! I needed these for wax seals on wedding invitations, and I had plenty left over to make the favor bags as well! A seal can be made with just three small melts.
