Questions & Answers
If you're wondering how to remove wax from the surface of the spoon holder as well as the spoon, I found that using a paper towel or a couple Kleenex before the wax hardened was the best way. While doing this, take care not to touch the hot surfaces with your fingers. So far, no finger burns have occurred as a result of using this method.

The wood began to emit smoke, and when I looked closer, it was red-hot and smouldering. This was not my own mistreatment because I used a regular tea candle that was centered and had a straight up flame. I'm not sure if this is due to a design flaw or if the one I received was defective. Please, everyone, exercise caution!.
A good ledge for your way spoon to rest on is shown in the picture. That isn't the case at all. Because it's fairly wide open, you have to hold it or balance it just right, or you'll end up with a huge mess all over the place. It's also a good idea to have something to set it on while it cools so it doesn't harden in your candle. Aside from that, it performs as expected.
I bought this product because I knew I'd be writing a lot of personalized letters in a short period of time, but the spoon was incredibly difficult to use— when you titled it, some of the wax would stick to the side and fall to the bottom due to gravity. The wax would then be burned or melted into the bottom tea light. The kit as a whole is lovely, but it wasn't practical for me at the end of the day.
Yeah, it's pretty simple to use, and it works well as long as you keep an eye on it. The only issue I had was with the quality of the *implement that sees the most use*. I used it twice: once to seal small jars with wax (which was not improper, in case anyone was wondering), and once to actually make seals. The spoon's head broke off the wooden handle while I was attempting to clean the wax out after making seals. The metal the spoon is made of is *actually* cheap, brass plated, cast-aluminium, according to a close examination of the break. It does not appear to be brass. You should be proud of yourself for deceiving your clients. I appreciate the fact that I won't be able to use something I paid $20 for twice. Aluminum has a low melting point and is frequently reported to be bendable and even breakable when exposed to heat in small amounts. as if it were a candle, for example? Let's face it, people. Really? You designed a product that was built to fail. I'd be willing to pay more if you could just fix your product. As it stands, I preferred a more traditional method of wax melting, which is why I chose this model over an electric one. I would pay more for better materials if it was just made properly.
This is exactly what I needed. Sealing wax has been a part of my life for a long time. I prefer this to lighting wax sticks because there is no soot in the seal. Buy beads to melt or, if you have sticks, break them up or create shavings with a knife (or peeler). I like how I can control the spoon and how it sits perfectly on top. There will be no more wax spills. Plus, when it's not in use, it looks great sitting on the desk. Next to my glass pens, it looks fantastic. Wells for ink.
FYI - You may be surprised to learn that wax seals can be used to send letters. Simply take them to the post office, pay a small hand stamping fee (do not use a machine), and mail them with your personal touch. The last time I mailed a wax sealed letter, it cost me about 15 cents each. Please do not simply drop wax-sealed letters into the mailbox. The seal may become entangled in modern machinery, causing your letter to be destroyed or equipment to be damaged.
That wasn't a problem for me, until it caught fire!! (Despite the fact that I've been removing the top portion between uses. ) It was not exposed to high temperatures for an extended period of time; in fact, it happened before the beads in the spoon had melted! I would not recommend this product to anyone who is not attempting to set fire to their home.
A large tear ran across the wooden wax cushion when it broke.
I bought my seals and beads and this little warmer works perfectly. It comes with a tea light candle and the warmer is made of wood, with a bead holder that you hold over the flame. It's only a tea light, so it's very safe. Everything you'll need for this project is available separately or in a box, and it's all nicely packaged. All you need now are beads and seals to add a nice touch to your cards; it also makes a great gift for the crafter on your list, and it works well for craft projects. Good value for money.
