During breaks, I needed something to keep my cat from typing on my laptop keyboard. My son thinks he's my assistant and "protects" the keyboard by sitting on it so no one else can see my top-secret work (elementary lesson plans) whenever I leave to do laundry or something else work-related. tasks of avoidance This stand fits perfectly over the keyboard, allowing him to keep an eye on my work while excluding himself from contributing. br>br>The stand is tall enough to cover the keyboard on a desk and on a cooling pad on the bed, but not so tall that the cat can still reach it; I believe this is a 17" laptop, and the stand is wide enough to cover the entire keyboard; when I'm ready to work again, the stand is light enough to be easily moved out of the way. br>br>This solution has made both the cat and me very happy. He can still keep an eye on my work, but I won't have to worry about him deleting it. I'm sure it could hold a monitor as well, but that's not why I bought it.

This product isn't used as a monitor stand; rather, it's used as a tower stand to keep the tower off the carpeted floor, allowing for better air circulation and fewer chances for carpet dust and fibers to obstruct the fans. Two of them were purchased: One was for my new gaming computer system, and the other was when my husband noticed how easily mine slides out and across the carpet for cleaning and repairs. The tools were included in the package, which made assembly a breeze. The product was well packaged and arrived quickly. Both purchases have made me very happy.

I use a 32-inch monitor, which I have to keep close to my face because I am visually impaired. The monitor they bought for me at work doesn't have an adjustable height stand, and the screen's bottom is too low for me. Also, in order to get it close, I'd like the keyboard to be underneath the monitor so that I can move the monitor forward on my desk. br>br>This stand is ideal because it allows me to fit my full-size computer monitor on it. My 32" monitor fits on top, and I can pull the entire stand forward to the front of my desk so that I can get the monitor close enough to type without hitting the tops of my hands against the underside of the stand. Because of the increased height, I can now clearly see the screen's bottom corners. However, the top corners are now slightly raised (I have to look up at them), but this is due to the close proximity of the monitor. If I had to choose, I'd prefer to view the bottom of the screen comfortably rather than the top corners. If the stand were 1/2 inch lower, that would be fine, but then I'd have a problem typing because there wouldn't be enough space underneath the stand for my hands. br>br>This stand is very sturdy. It has a solid feel to it and does not sway in any way. I tried a few of the wire mesh stands, but they were too narrow to fit my keyboard underneath and didn't feel sturdy. Although some of them had adjustable height, I believe this added to their sense of unease. robustness br>br>Assembly was simple thanks to the four bolts, washers, and allen wrench included. There are also four sticky padded feet that can be placed on the bottom to protect your desk surface from the metal feet. br>br>I would recommend this stand, especially if you need to keep your monitor close by and type with your keyboard positioned beneath it. Even if you don't have one, the stand is sturdy and looks great on your desk. I have the black version, but it comes in a wood grain finish as well. br>br>As always, Amazon Basics knocks it out of the park with a great design, just what you need, and no extras.

I bought 2 of these shelf's to raise my tv's, and I liked them when I got them because they were easy to assemble and the color pretty much matched my furniture so they looked like they were part of the furniture. I've had them for almost 2 months now and I noticed 1 of them looks like it's sagging down in the middle a little bit, so I got my 24" straight edge and sure enough it sagged about 1/8" on center, the tv is br>They still look good to me, and if you're going to use it as a television or computer monitor, as long as it's under 8 pounds, you should be fine.

This is a very well-made item. It did exactly what I needed it to do: lift our new computer off the carpet so it wouldn't act like a vacuum and suck all the dirt into the power supply if it was left on the carpet. The riser did an excellent job of lifting it off the ground and is sturdy enough that the only thing I'd be concerned about is hitting my toe on it. Overall, this is a well-made product.

I needed a way to raise my computer monitors without taking up too much space on my desk. I had purchased my desk specifically to ensure that I would have sufficient work space, and I did not want to waste any of that valuable real estate! These monitor stands are ideal for my requirements. They were incredibly easy to put together. length that is ideal width. I ordered two because I have two, 23-inch TVs and they don't have drawers or cubbies, so I feel like I have even more space than I thought I would. in front of computer screens I lined them up end to end, and there was just enough space. These computer risers were exactly what I needed and at a reasonable price.

I use this for my wide screen monitor and it's done a lot for my desk by keeping my stuff organized and giving me that extra height that I need for my view. It relieves tension in your neck and back when you're working on the computer for long periods of time. Because of the space you will save, being able to store your keyboard or laptop in the bottom portion of the table is ideal, as is the product's sturdy construction and simple instructions. Overall, this is a fantastic purchase that will meet your requirements.
