It is burnt into the surface, as I tried one more by Readaeer on Amazon. There is a feeling that you can just feel. My purpose is solely to use this as a stand to support notes, and this one looks great. Having just tested my writing, I would like to share my results. When applying pressure to the paper, you will need to hold it with your free hand otherwise you will simply push it away from yourself.

It is because of the following reasons. It had a tiny amount of protective oil on it. A paper towel coming up clean after wiping bamboo for about a minute did not take in that, so we decided to use a 2nd towel. I cannot think of a problem. I feel that the clips are sturdy, but I have not used them long enough to tell whether they are going to "pop off". There's no need for concern for me. However, I see no reason why they will pop off if these do not work. If these do not work, I can easily find a better screw. They are wonderful! I like them very much. It's great to have them! It takes up a total of 1 348 inches of space when folded up. It occupies the most amount of space and is thinnest at the edges. The dimensions of the stand, when unfolded (with the support extended), are 15 inches wide by 11 inches tall by 7 inches deep. There is a lot of force exerted by the clips. It is constructed from bamboo, so it is very durable. Here's how the fold looks like This back support is also made of bamboo and has grooves to catch the metal bail that adjusts the tilt. The sturdy metal bail will allow the tilt to range from about 20° to 45°. A horizontal plane is 45 degrees higher than a vertical plane, with a 20-degree angle being the closest to vertical. Obviously, you can prop it up without the support stand on your lap, but if you want to use it in bed, you might get the best results putting it on a tray, like a cafeteria tray or what we used to call a TV dinner tray. Therefore, the back of the supporting back would rest on a flat surface. It seems like most stands of similar size are too small for their jobs. It also has the added benefit of being 15 inches wide, which provides support for sheet music (one of my biggest reasons for buying it), and large reference materials or coffee tables. There are a lot of books on tables. It is made of metal and has no plastic components. I'm so happy! There is likely to be glue and wood screws used to attach the wooden parts together. Having tried it in many ways now, I can say it has proved useful in a wide variety of ways Reading music, reading books, holding an iPad or iPhone and making phone calls, or even both, as I make phone calls and work - these are some of my favorite activities. In the coming days, I am certain to be able to think of many more applications. Considering it's all wood, I am confident it will last me a long time, and if anything were to go wrong, I could fix it in five minutes with a screwdriver and screws of my choice. There is little chance I will have to do that in my lifetime. 5 stars is the right rating for this product, as it is practically perfect in every way.
A few days ago, I purchased an instruction manual on As I worked through a complex training example, I wanted to keep it near my computer so I could read the instructions and turn the pages as I worked through it. book opens to a width of 16 inches, a height of nine inches, and a page count of 1,091. A picture this size would require a stand similar to one in a library, a school, or an office. discovered the Large Bamboo Book Stand made by Linnai Products and offered through Amazon at a very good price. The craftsmanship is good, the bamboo is smoothly finished and has an attractive natural finish, and the stand has 5 slots which let the tilt be adjusted to fit my reading position. In order to guard book pages against damage, the tip of each page holder is encased in soft plastic. In addition to the giants, there are also books that fit on the book stand. Page holders set up easily to fit a 9" by 7" or a 7" by 9" and can be swiveled for the pages to be held in place without obscured view. Using this stand is simple the holders for the pages fold inside a slot in the shelf, which, in turn, folds flat against the face of the stand. The tilt mechanism also folds flat towards the back of the stand, making a compact bundle for easy transportation.
This project totally blew me away. I loved the idea of a bamboo book holder, but that's where it I received the unit with a weird oil coating that was greasy, a surface I was not comfortable putting my books on. I wiped it with a paper towel and it seemed to work, but the metal arm that held the book open fell off when I used it the second time. As it stands, the wood looks stripped and the hole would take more time to fix than I can provide, plus, is there any chance that it will stop happening in the future? This would have been great for me if it had worked.
Taking it from room to room is easy because of its lightweight nature My Bible is large enough to fit comfortably, yet sturdy enough to hold everything I need it to You can see it on the On the bottom is a ledge that is ideal for propping the Bible (the other book). Besides looking good, it sounds great as well. I like the different levels of the adjustable stand on the back. I can adjust it to a comfortable eye level (depending on where I'm sitting) while I'm studying to teach. I can also have my Sunday school book in front of it at this time. During my study time, I hold down the Bible's pages with the black metal arms (see picture).
The wood was finished with an oily finish which is what I assume was used to seal the surface. It is quite unpleasant to touch, and I would not want to place any books on top for fear of them picking up the oil. Although it's all gone, it's not completely gone. My stomach turns a bit when I walk on it, but I hope the smell will go away over time.
Update There is no smell or feel of grease left at all. In the past few months, one of the metal page holders has become rather loose after holding a thick book open, but it works fine otherwise. I am satisfied with the product as a whole.
The purchase has been a great experience for me.
Moving the boards and installing screws were all that was required cutting and shaping the wood was all that was required. In light of the price, and the amount of time it would take to make one of these, this was an excellent.
