My recommendation would not be to use this for anything thicker than 3/4 inch as the length of the bottom lip would not support the cover, but I have used it for large thin hardcover books and it has been perfect for them.

It is a pleasure to have these stands because my books get all the attention and the stand is hardly noticeable. They are set up to be my backdrop for the podcast I host You are the host of "Love & Hip Hop" Live by these words of encouragement. Also, I can bring them to book fairs as they are easy to carry, and use them to advertise my books and sell them. My publishing career continues to produce more books, so I'll purchase more from them.
If you need a quick and efficient display solution for photo books or albums, these are great stands. I used them for displaying 8x8 hardcover books and found them to be exactly the right size.
My small journals are designed to fit beautifully on these acrylic easels when I sell them at Weight and stability are the main advantages of these shoes. They are about 5 inches by 5 inches and I use them to keep journals. Five by eight. Although they can accommodate books up to 5 inches, they are also suitable for books up to 6x9 inches. This is a good addition to the product and does not detract from it.

My manga volumes fit perfectly in this stand, even when the volume is very large. The stand is sturdy enough to support the volume, no matter how large it is. SJ volumes fit well, but they're slightly wide than the stand, which makes them difficult to hold. So I left them on the stand. The books I wanted to display fit perfectly on them. A few months ago, I used one as a way to display my small purse in my closet. I'll probably be purchasing more in the future. These are ideal for books of a small to medium size.
These are great. I even use one as a phone stand in my office. I'd recommend them.
It's exactly what I was looking for. My bookshelf has even been used to store giant books, such as law cases.
