Here's a list of the ones I'm most concerned about, from most to least: br>br>1 Sharp edges; just putting in the four screws caused me to cut myself twice. br>2 The mounting bar for the bottom is on the top, which is a poor design. As you can see in the photo, getting paper into and out of the bottom is a real pain. 3 Sharp edges that come into contact with the desk. It's a real risk of scratching up your work surface. br>4 Except for one, all of the selves are so warped that they can't slide in and out; they barely fit into the holding rails without popping out.

The product's quality is excellent. The only flaw was that the rails for attachment B were blocking the screw hole. To remove some of the metal, I had to use my hammer and pliers. I threw away the package it came in before putting it together (my fault). It appears that the rails for part B were fused too close to the screw holes. I didn't want to waste time arguing with the vendor about the manufacturing error, so I took matters into my own hands. It gets a one-star rating from me. Before you throw away the box, make sure the main part A is in good working order!.

If you don't care about aesthetics, these are a cost-effective option. I ordered two to help organize my guest bedroom closet, which has been converted into a home office, and Amazon tossed them in with other items in a big box. The poor packing dented one mesh panel, but I was able to bend it back out of the way enough to hide it in a closet. The assembly hardware was missing from the other. It was quicker to go to Lowe's than to wait for an Amazon return or resolution. M6 x 0. 5" screws are used.

UPDATE: This product has a manufacturing flaw. I was contacted by the seller, who offered to send me a replacement- There is no charge, and you get to keep the original. Yay! Thank you for your excellent customer service and THANK YOU: )br>br>I just received this today. It should have been simple to put this paper tray together, but one of the screw holes is bent and cannot be bent back into shape. It's most likely a manufacturer's defect, and I should send it back. but I'll see what I can come up with to make it work:.

I would have given it a 3 out of 5 for sturdiness if it had a middle set of screws instead of just the top and bottom. Before putting anything on the shelves, four of the six horizontal pieces were bent and didn't fit flush in the side slots. The outward bending of the sides aggravates the situation. It would be perfect if the side slots extended a little further and an extra pair of screw holes were added to the middle shelf. Although the outside of the box was damaged in transit, it appears that it was smushed between two heavier packages, it was exactly what I needed to keep my supplies close at hand. It's possible that's why it's damaged.

When you look at the shelving closely enough, you'll notice that two of the shelves, the top and bottom shelves, have a cylindrical bar. Turn the bars so that they face the unit's interior. Although the tool used to tighten the screws is not ideal for people with large fingers and hands, the assembly will take less than 5 minutes. Because it is made of metal, it is much more durable than those made of cardboard or other less durable materials. I'd buy it again if I needed another multi-purpose tool. Organizer for trays.
