I've tried three different types of paper trays, and this one is by far the most durable, rigid, and practical of them all; when stacked, the trays actually snap together (via the clips). Most other paper trays I've used don't snap together when stacked; instead, they're held together by gravity (e. g. , e. g. , e. g. , e. g. , e. g. , e. g. , e g simply piled on top of one another). br>br>THERE IS A DESIGN FEATURE, however: the base (the part that touches the surface) is supported by the clips themselves. As a result, there is a big 0 left. If the entire structure becomes too heavy, the 35 cm middle gap can cause the clips to break. If I were them, I would either redesign the structure so that it does not rest on the clips, or add some thickness to cover the 0. The center gap is 35 cm.
It's sturdy, simple to put together, and it can hold a lot of stuff. br>Some buyers have complained that the feet (or rather, the parts where you push them into the slits to stack them) do not have a flat bottom. Getting a roll of gripping, foamy-textured tape is an easy DIY solution for it sliding or damaging your table. anti-rubbery slip mats [that no one ever seems to remember the name of] and, if necessary, cut to size. (You can find these on Amazon, in a store's furniture or kitchen isle, and even at a dollar store. ) )br>Shortly after purchasing this, I discovered an older, but identical set for free in a yard, which had been cracked due to prolonged exposure to the sun, so a helpful tip (as with most plastic) is to avoid storing it in direct sunlight. br>br>Overall, I'm pleased with this product: it holds a lot of stuff without being rocky, the plastic feels thick and durable in most places, air can flow through the back, it's easy to assemble, it's easy to dust, and each shelf can hold about 1,500 - 2,000 notebooks. Total page count is 2,000.
I'm learning that the best seller isn't always the cheapest and most flimsy item. It's an old item. school, has that snap when you join them, and is rigid enough that lining them up to put them together is simple. They house my legal pads and stacks of "papers I need to save, review, and look at soon so I don't forget" so that I can toss them out after a few years. un-observed However, rather than throwing everything away, I find that organizing the mess helps me to stay calm. The "throw everything out" method has a habit of coming back to haunt me time and time again. If it makes a difference, they aren't transparent. The side holes are useful for determining which bays are stacked. I'm thinking about getting a few more and stacking them on top of each other.
To be honest, I was worried they'd be flimsier, so I planned to use double-sided tape to keep them together. Tape them to the table with double-sided tape. Despite this, I haven't had to use any tape. They're fine; I use them in my classroom to organize papers, and I'm no longer rummaging through a stack of papers to find notes I took an hour ago. br>br>Reviews said they bow if you put too much weight on them, which worried me. However, they're fine for paper; yes, they'll bow if you put a textbook on them, but for books, you should invest in a wooden bookshelf. br>br>Anyway, so far, everything has gone well.
Two sets of six help me organize the mountains of paperwork I have for keeping track of my disabled husband's health, health care, and caregiver issues, not to mention any other paperwork I have. They only snap together just enough to keep them aligned. I'd like them to be a little taller, but I'm not sure the plastic would hold up to the added weight.
These are the most basic letter-size stacking trays available. They're not flashy, but they get the job done. In fact, I recently placed an order for a second set. They stay stacked by "nesting" together with tabs at the corners. Don't put too much pressure on them; they're only made of plastic. Although I wish there were more color options, basic black works well in my home telecommute office. Delivery was a little slow, so be patient; It took me about 9 days to receive my order.
These have been in use for 7 weeks and are performing admirably. We use them for textbooks, notebooks, and other similar purposes. Each tray has only one subject. There is no sagging in the trays. They appear to be in good condition. The trays don't fall apart when you put them together because they snap together. Our purchase has made us extremely happy.
It's sturdy, and the sides are labeled. I don't have to worry if the table wobbles because it connects perfectly; I'm using it for teaching because it will hold everything and won't slide out the sides:.
