I'm assuming you'd like to keep a ream of paper on hand. Yes.
I'm not sure if there was a "made in" label on the box or product, but according to their website, safco is an American company based in Minnesota. As for quality, I bought it because it's made of heavy sheet steel and it frequently has large manuals thrown on it by my careless coworker. workers (imagine a mcmaster-Carr catalog that's four inches thick). After six months of abuse, there have been no bends or warps. It's a good product, but if that's a concern for you, there's a good chance it wasn't made in the United States.

Despite the fact that it is larger than comparable items, it has a surprisingly small footprint, making it a perfect fit for my desk. br>br>The bad news is that it arrived damaged, despite the fact that it was packaged well to prevent damage during transit. It almost seems as if the damage was done before it was packaged, based on the type and amount of damage. It's also possible that the shipping handlers were venting their frustrations on this package.
I needed a way to store reams of paper, so I built a rack. Because reams would not fit in the eight slot rack, I returned it. I inquired as to whether full reams of paper could be accommodated in the 5 slot. Three people stated that they would do so. They had it all wrong. It won't fit a full ream! br>br>Nice rack, but it's a little on the small side. br>br>Joe br>br>Joe br>br>Joe.
I appreciate the fact that this isn't a flimsy plastic paper organizer, but rather a one-of-a-kind item. metal 6-piece set, very sturdy 6-piece set, metal 6-piece set, metal 6-piece rack of shelves It requires no assembly and is shipped in a very sturdy double-thick cardboard box, ensuring that no dents or damage occur during transit. There are four small stick-figures in this picture. on foam pieces to place on the bottom of your desk to protect it from scratches Each shelf can hold a ream of letter-sized paper without bowing or collapsing, and I can easily store two reams of letterhead on the top shelf. I was so pleased with these that I purchased two, ensuring that I am (almost!) completely organized.
Safco provided an accurate description of this organizer. The trays are well-made, and the unit as a whole is well-made. The matte finish also aids in the reduction of fingerprints. The unit can hold a few hundred pages of paper in each slot and still function properly. br>br>A ream of paper will fit into each slot, according to some reviewers, but not Safco. This statement is false. Even if you managed to cram a ream of paper into the slot, you'd have a hard time getting it out, let alone a single sheet.
The only thing that fits is construction paper. Sturdy. Construction paper barely fits; 5 stars if it were just a smidgeon wider so that the construction paper could lay flat. Apart from that, everything is fine.
For my desk, I needed a tray sorter, but not one made of plastic. I came across this one, and what drew me in was the fact that it said it had padding on the bottom, as well as the fact that it looked like it would hold up over time (the padding is four small velvet buttons that you stick on the bottom once you get it). Although it is not what I expected, it functions well and does not wobble. I have an elm desk and didn't want a metal tray folder to scratch it, so these felt buttons are perfect. This one, too, has a sturdy feel to it. I would recommend this one, but if you have your heart set on another one and are buying this because of the padding, go ahead and buy the one you like best and go buy a package of the padding from Lowe's or Walmart and it will work just as well. The tray, on the other hand, is still a good product for what I needed.
This was useful in my classroom for sorting papers and different days of work. It was a huge success. Although the labels do not adhere well, I would purchase it again. If you're trying to stay organized, this is a great tool to have.
Very well packaged. In fact, it's double boxed, which is ideal for what I need at work. Heavy-duty but easy-to-maneuver. It also comes with a warranty. I am very pleased with my purchase of this item.
