Is it possible to stack this?

It can't be stacked because there isn't a lower side to slide papers into. I'm not saying you couldn't stack them on top of one another; in fact, I believe you could. However, you wouldn't be able to reach anything below the topmost tray unless you lifted them off of each other.

It's both attractive and well-made

It's difficult to say how long these two trays will last because we've only had them for a few days. However, they appear to be well made to me as long as they are not mistreated. One was for magazines and the other was for business papers, so I ordered both. They're lovely, and I'm pleased with them! It is highly recommended.

Overall, my desk has a fantastic look to it. Very cute, but I wish there was a hell-like cushion under the tray in the corners to keep it from sliding across my glass-topped desk. I used hot glue dots at the bottom, which helped a lot.
