You should get the "page up" brand, as this is the old school brand that has been working well for me for so many years. The bin holds a single sheet of paper, several sheets of paper, or a few index cards, just as you want. There may be a gray font in the box you select, but the main title reads black, so it's a black page - A great product that is very well packaged to make sure it doesn't get scratched up.
The little footprint and the ease with which it folds away when not in use are great features. Keeping pages upright is easy with this product. (Usually I have about ten 8-inch screens. Although the slot is similar to the one on the similar Page Pal device I was hoping to find, the angle is not as good as the one on that device. It's been years since I've had a Page Pal and I'm looking to buy a few more and thought I'd give this one a shot. Even though the hardware still works, paper does not stay positioned as well as it did with Page Pal. For the price, this is still a very good item.
