Be mindful of the fact that newspapers are made in different sizes over time when ordering newspaper sleeves. The larger size sleeves were ordered, but then I found a couple of papers that were even larger than the size I ordered, so I advise you to order the larger sleeves. There was one downside the sleeves are actually open at one end, and I thought a flap would be attached to the open end so the garments could be fully enclosed. In conclusion, for the price point of this product, the quantity is sufficient and the boxes function really well for archiving newspapers. For those who are looking for the options i mentioned earlier, there are more expensive options. That's all I need to know.
Newspapers were covered with these during World War II. One and a half inches stick out of the bottom.
A way to archive old newspapers and large format magazines I'd saved was important to me. It worked well, but I needed to punch a tiny hole in the corner to get the flattening to work. The resealable bags appear to be of good weight, and they are resealable.
This is exactly what I was looking for to preserve some old historical papers. These would have been helpful to me if I had gotten them.
They were exactly what I was looking for to store and protect prop newspapers. Those who browse our stock can now select what they need without causing any damage to the items. Adding these sleeves to our newspaper/magazine props will extend their shelf life by several years.
My old newspapers fit perfectly in this box. My papers will be better protected with this sturdy sleeve.
Magazines and newspapers from very old times are well protected. As well as being able to fit a small stack of books. Keeping a stack of them on hand is always a good idea.
We could even make it a little bigger so that bigger papers or magazines can fit.
