My job is to host bar trivia. I print answer slips with the names of my teams Since I bought this slicer, I had been using the same piece for the last decade. That thing literally stopped cutting after I did so much work on it. Compared to the original, this was a satisfactory Once you learn the proper amount of pressure to apply, it cuts very well, though it is protected by some sort of guard. I appreciate that you can lift up the guide to insert paper, although it would be nice not to have to do that every time I insert paper or adjust the paper. However, I did try the "hidden ruler" even though it is unlikely I will use it. As hard as I thought it would be, I was unable to get out of it. The system is satisfactory for the job it does, but it's not quite.
I had never measured anything this accurately before, but this product proved a lot better than I expected. One end of the cutter has markings for measuring. The cutter itself is sharp and well-crafted. I was a bit disappointed to discover that the box only has space for inches to be measured, and that the long side was only marked in centimeters. I still found this to be the most time-saving tool for my cutting projects, and it was.
Excellent job and I like the angles we can cut as well as markings for the angles. A blade that is additional is a plus. While testing on paper, it cut very well. I have yet to use it on a real product, but have tried it on paper. Also, I like that it has a safety blade so you don't waste any of the blade's power-it cuts only when you apply pressure so when you move the blade along the paper without pressing, the blade won't cut. My personal opinion is that this is good. The blade won't react to pressure if it gets into the hands of a child, so I don't think they'll be able to cut themselves.
Paper cuts as it is supposed to. I believe you can cut yourself if you keep at it and then put some real effort into it it will eventually result in a cut. There is no problem cutting paper. Cutting fabrics takes more finesse but it can be done.
It's so nice to have such a handy tool. The grid is easy to read, which is what I like about it. My experience with the product is only three cuts at once. I haven't used it for cutting multiple papers at once. It is important to hold the paper firmly in place when sliding so it will not.
In addition to being cheaply made and cut crooked, this is difficult and awkward to handle. My recommendation is NOT to do.
The product delivered great value for its price and was very easy to put together. A set of extra blades is included. It is ideal for cutting.
