On my breaks at work, I often work on my Happy Planner, so I thought this would be a great, portable tool to have. But I have been sorely disappointed. In addition to the blade coming off every time I use it (it clips in, but after a couple swipes, it's off), it takes two to three swipes before it actually cuts (plain copier paper, not sticker paper or card stock, which I originally planned to use! Based on the reviews I read, I had some reservations, but since it was made by Fiskars, I bit the bullet and decided to give it a shot. It works great, but I won't recommend it to others or purchase it again. Considering that my previous Fiskars paper cutters have been excellent, I will not suggest or purchase this one.
Until now, this is the first time I have had to return a Fiskars product. I have two other Fiskars trimmers that are absolutely excellent. Yet the blade does not stay smoothly in the track and this makes for a difficult trimmer to use. I am having difficulties getting a smooth edge on my cuts because the input is very jerky. In fact, on some cuts, I can see slivers of the sides of the track disappearing. I'm not sure if this is a defect in the cutter or if the way it was designed is not good. Whatever the case may be, I will be returning this item.
