There is no chance of that happening. A 17" and a 15" laptop both fit, but only the 15" one will be able to use this adapter. Although it is a little smaller than some of the other models, it still does its job quite well. There have been a few comments that it accommodates a laptop up to 17 inches. The briefcase has a larger capacity than my 17" HP Envoy, so I am not sure if it will fit.

This has disappointed me greatly. Firstly, let me say that I always treat my laptop bags gently. When this bag is in contact with other surfaces, the ribbing on the edges will wear out. Over time, the black skin of the ribbing at the corners of the bag wears away revealing the gray material underneath. During a walk, one of the strap fasteners on the bag broke in half so that my laptop bag fell to the ground from the side as I carried it over my shoulder. The quality is very poor. Having used these products for a couple of years, I've reached the end of my rope.
Even after two months of use, the corners in this leather case started peeling away. Enjoy your leather case for two more months! A leather product is not what it seems. The case has so many pockets, that if you don't remember what is in each one you could lose something in this briefcase. The case packs a lot of stuff, and I was amazed at how much it holds, and it does not appear I am still unable to find what I am I can fit bottled water in it if I stand it up, but I would not be able to fit a bowl.
