I have a 16" laptop instead of a 17" It fits perfectly at 25"x11".

I like the functionality of the bag. In my everyday carry, I use this bag. There are breaks in the stitching for shoulder straps where the cushions are located. After using it for about 5 months, it has not lived up to the quality I was expecting from this brand. ***** I changed it from 2 to 5 stars due to the great customer service provided by A copy of the photo I posted here was attached in an email to Carhartt's customer service. My request was immediately responded to. I was asked for my email address, and a few days later a BRAND NEW STRAP was delivered! It will be interesting to see how long this lasts! Since he has more of a desk job, he does not appreciate the sleek computer cases that most people with white collar jobs use. His rugged bag is just what he needs! When he measures on the job, he can take it with him and keep his computer, tape measure, keys, phone, sunglasses, wallet, even his lunch all in one. It is essential that men carry a "purse" since they have just as much stuff in their lives as women do! It is great to have a bag that holds all his belongings in one place so I don't have to carry a 20 lb purse with all his stuff.
Though I have to say that it is good for the price, since it makes me look important and it is worth $100. All in all, it functions well for my needs with regard to storage and organization. It is more concerning that the bottom will go first and the canvas will come off the Saunders clipboard, but we will have to wait and see how the bottom holds up. Currently, there are no leather product tags available for purchase. I'm looking forward to seeing them as this year progresses. The bag would have been nicer if it had one. I might return for a heavy-duty model to do some serious on-site work if it were beefed I would say that overall it was not too.
The bag I have been using for the past three months is the one I use for my job as a Project Manager in construction. With it, I can carry a tablet, a notebook, and a few tools with ease. Besides the pocket on the front, it also has a tape measure slot on the back. I love that it has a good size and is water-resistant. There is a shoulder strap that is padded but does not seem I would recommend it as a great buy for the money and expect it to last for many.
I highly recommend it. This bag is perfectly sized for my laptop, and it has enough padding so I'm not concerned that it will get It made me feel so manly to have this bag that I bought the lunch bag too.
