To replace my dodgy 12" computer case, I had to buy a new one. In this briefcase, you can easily fit an HP notebook measuring 13. 3 inches. You can store your notebook or tablet in the compartment on the front of the bag, but the zipper pockets on the compartment have leather pull tabs and will NOT scratch your computer, as some buyers were concerned. In my opinion, the only way that could happen is if you stored the bag upside down on its cover flap, and that caused the device to slide out of its pocket and into the zipper base. It would be prudent to cover the computer or table with a safety sheath if you are concerned about this. Despite it being a cheap briefcase, it easily passes for a $500 bag due to its exquisite appearance. The bag was affordable and presentedable enough to take into court room, so it was just what I needed. "Italian split leather" has a great deal of weight to it and is formed so that the bag holds up very well Also included is a large accessory compartment that can fit a couple of pens and possibly a thumb drive or SD card. I like the appearance of the briefcase overall. A very professional looking watch, but not too over the top leather is very nice to look at. It is the latch I have the most problems with. I have scratched the base of the plug-in and it came scratched in the package even though I have not used it. Shipping must have moved the plug-in? The keyboard feels like it would be covered in scratches after just a few weeks of use. I'm wondering whether to keep it or throw it away. I know it's a minor detail, but the latch should be better constructed for the price and there are a lot of scratches.

Despite being slim and lightweight, the briefcase is well-made and made of high-quality materials. I had to send it back because I have to handle and carry legal-size documents and folders and these won't fit. The bag is great in all other respects.

One issue is that it is scratched up already when you click it in and when you click it open! Clearly there's a poor quality issue on that part. You can see it Due to its eyesore, it bothers me a great deal. I would not hesitate to recommend it for anyone! It is quite beautiful, large, sturdy and has been my favorite briefcase ever!.

In the amazon page, it says the seller's metrics are external measurements. The briefcase is smaller on the inside, so I have a problem closing it when I put my office items inside. This is not something I recommend. Ultimately, I feel that I spend my money in vain.
