This is an absolutely stunning journal. It's one-of-a-kind and exceptionally well-made. It's clear that they're handcrafted, and the slight imperfections add to the appeal. Mine has no strange odor, is well-designed, and has clean pages. The paper is the only thing that bothers me about it. It's held up well to the various inks I've tried on it, but it doesn't care for my fountain pens. The writing is scribbled in a scratchy, dry style. Erasers don't sit well with it either. I was considering drawing some lines in to keep my writing straight, but when I rubbed an eraser over it, it became irritated. If you apply too much pressure to the paper, it will pill up and even come off. So, if you're going to use it to draw something in or erase something, this might not be the best option. That said, it's such a lovely thing that I can't help but want to write in it, so I'm willing to accept that my lines won't be perfectly straight, which may add to its charm. Overall, I am satisfied with this journal and would recommend it.
Moonster is the best option. I bought this Moonster leather journal as a surprise for my wife, who enjoys traveling as a retiree and has visited China, Ireland, and Scotland, to name a few places. When it comes to shopping for her, I try to spoil her and only buy the best of the best. I'm always worried that she won't like what I choose, and she was out of town when I made this purchase. I told her to open her gift the day after she returned home, and she did. "This time, I had hit it out of the park," she said after opening the Moonster and carefully inspecting it. br>br>She repeated this and other very complimentary remarks for several days in a row, the first time this had occurred with any gift I had purchased for her. My search for the highest-quality, hand-crafted leather journal yielded outstanding results, as evidenced by Moonster's product line. Moonster is a family-owned and operated business. The company is family-owned and operated, and it sets a professional quality standard of excellence that other vendors can only aspire to. She liked it so much that we bought two more journals since the first (one for my wife and one for our granddaughter as a Christmas present). We vote with our wallets, as do so many others. Moonster is the only one who has received our votes.
This journal has completely captured my heart. The leather is soft and worn in appearance. the paper on the inside It's absolutely stunning. The photos do not do it justice, and I paid for standard shipping when I purchased it. It took two days for it to arrive. A small card tucked inside the front cover stated that a portion of the company's profits are donated to the prevention of child cruelty. This is a company from which I will absolutely order again.
It is both durable and adaptable. It's delicately crafted and lovely. I like the wraparound leather strap and the unique tree on the front. I like that you can add pages to the inside if you need them. It was well-protected by the nag it arrived in. The best part is that a portion of the proceeds benefit a children's charity. Thank you for such a great product; I'm using it to make a travel photo/scrapbook for our family's travels.
It's fantastic! Thank you for the great deal, and I appreciate that a portion of the proceeds will benefit those in need.
This leather-bound journal is fantastic! The smell of leather filled my nose as I started undoing the knot of the canvas drawstring bag the journal came in. When I took the journal out of the bag, the tree print/stamp (I'm not sure what it's called) was perfectly centered and beautiful. The leather is soft, and the thickness is just right for folding over the many pages. This isn't your ordinary unlined paper. Because I use felt tip pens, it's a little thicker, which I like. I bought this journal to store family recipes, which is also why I like the tree, and the string that closes it is the perfect length to wrap around the journal twice. There's a lot of symbolism in this piece. Thank you.
The Palm Pilot is a good example. Everyone under the age of 35 is now googling it and laughing. The ink is held in these journals' pages, and I like the 0. It allows me to write a large number of visible and readable words per page using Pilot G2 pens in the 038 size. br>I give these to my coaching clients as gifts so that they can keep their memories and pass them down to their children. br>I once heard it said that your "notes" are your uncashed checks. I can't tell you how many times I've gone back to the journals to implement some brilliant ideas I've gleaned from seminars and videos.
First and foremost, I adore your product; while recuperating from surgery, I used your handcrafted journal to begin an art/watercolor project. Your leather Tree of Life journal is the perfect match for my project; I love the way it looks, feels, and is made; I love everything about it. br>My only regret is that I didn't pay enough attention to how my project should've started, and instead of a written introduction and/or some sypnosis about my point of view, I filled the first pages with art. However, I can still use the final pages to write a hypnosis. br>The project is still taking shape, and there are still a lot of pages to go. I'm looking forward to finishing mine and beginning another with one of your lovely handcrafted journals.
