Despite having large books and binders, the system is not able to accommodate them. Although the light is great, it can only be powered by USB, since there is no wall plug included. In order for this to function, you must plug it into a computer.

The purpose of this purchase was to relieve my neck strain with books that are larger than this. Although the base is very strong, the light is bright, and the height adjustment is very simple, it does not work for my larger books as I had originally anticipated. It is disappointing.

It is not worth the trouble

It only came with foreign language instructions for assembly! It did not work, thus I couldn't use the lamp. I got it together, plugged it in and it did not work, hence the lamp did Although the base of the book stand is sturdy, the book rest itself is flimsy.
