I believe the description stated that there would be six individual bookends, not six pairs, especially given the price.
When I tried to take out a book, they kept falling over, so I returned them. If you look closely, you'll notice that the base is only on one side of the book ends, making them unsteady. For stability, you'll want to look for bookends with a base that extends on both sides. br>br>In addition, the bookends are too short to hold up vinyl records that you will be searching through on a regular basis. I recommend that you look for something that is specifically designed for records. br>br>I hope my suggestions are useful. Best of luck, and have a wonderful holiday season! I'm not sure what I'm saying. I returned this item because it did not meet my expectations. Because there is only one side to the base, when you try to take a book out, the rest of the books fall over because there is no outer base to support them. Look for bookends that have a base on both sides and are tall enough to support the items you're trying to support. Good luck!

I was hoping to use these to get some graphic novels, but they're tiny and flimsy. I ended up ordering something else to put them on display. I wouldn't recommend these for anything more than a few short paperback books. They are unable to support any significant amount of weight.
I was apprehensive when I ordered it because I had no idea how big it would be or whether it would hold my books. Even before it arrived, I was prepared to return it because I believed I had ordered the incorrect item. It was also mentioned that it wouldn't hold large books, but it fits my 9x12 watercolor pads perfectly, and I set it up two days ago and it's still going strong! It's very heavy and sturdy; however, once the books are in place, if you pull on it (to align/realign), it will bend (I believe this can be fixed). As a result, remember that! Considering the cost of other brands, I'm very pleased with my purchase!.
It's just that the material isn't thick enough. br>br>OK for paperbacks, but a complete failure for larger books such as cookery books. You can't count on these to hold up their end of a row of books even if you use both pairs.
I needed some bookends quickly, so I bought these because they were inexpensive and I figured I could replace them later if they didn't work. All of them appeared to be in good condition, with no paint flaws and square corners. I was a little concerned about their light weight, but they work well in both directions. One of the bookends that was supporting the dictionaries tipped over; I wasn't surprised, though, given the books' height and weight. br>br>Overall, I am very pleased with this product, especially in light of its low price.
These are fantastic. They appear to be very sturdy, so I'm not sure why I was asked to rate them as "light weight. " They're not excessively heavy, but they don't feel cheap. They have a substantial feel to them. If books are pulled out and larger books are shifted to one side or the other, they will not topple over. I'm going to order some more of these if I need more bookends.
Each shelf gets one. For what I was looking for, the price was unbeatable.
I needed bookends to organize my notebooks and folders in my office, and these did an excellent job of holding up my binders as well as my notebooks and folders, and they also look great; I like the tree decorations. It's worth the money because they're light and you get four of them.
They aren't ideal for books that are extremely thick or tall, but they hold up well otherwise. They're primarily used to keep the edges of my paperbacks from curling, as they usually stand on their own.
