No, it does not close with a zip. There isn't any sort of conclusion. It's similar to a book in that you open and close it.
Yes, 11" x 17" sheets can be accommodated. These are for my husband's artwork, so I bought them for him. Pencil, pastel, and watercolor are some of the mediums used in this piece. These presentation folios are of excellent quality.
If you're asking about 11x17 comic art, the answer is yes. The standard size for comic book art is 11x14 or 11x17, which would both fit in this portfolio. There is no comic art in the size of 11x27 inches.
Yes, the black divider between the pages can be removed to allow art to be displayed on both sides.

I have Itoya portfolios as well as copies of other brands. There are no removable sleeves on any of my versions, and they all appear to be of similar quality. I'd buy these again, especially for the price and the way I use them!!.
The portfolio appears to be well-made and of archival quality. The sleeves, on the other hand, are 11x17 inches in size. Exactly the same, if not a tad smaller. If you're a creative person, you should - Standard paper sizes, such as 11x17, are used. If a company sells an 11x17 portfolio, that size of paper should fit. It isn't the case with this portfolio. It's too tight, and you're putting your work at risk. I'd take a closer look at it. I won't be buying anything else.
I needed a nice portfolio to use as an art book to hold 11x17 prints, which take up a lot of wall space. This one was perfect for the job. The edging is of good quality and the cover is thick. I'm thinking about getting another one to use as a portfolio for my 8x10 prints.
Portfolio is excellent. My gouache paintings on watercolor paper began to grow in size as I progressed. This is a little larger than the canson XL water color paper, which is 11x15, but it gets the job done. br>br>Fairly rigid cover and back over. a total of 24 sleeves - A thin black piece of plastic separates each sleeve, giving a total of 48 views. You can remove the black film if your artwork or whatever you're displaying has two sides, front and back. This works well with rigid cardboard paper. br>br> If you choose something thinner, you'll probably need a backer board, and you won't be able to add more pages to the book. All you have to do now is go out and purchase a new book. br>br>I'm not sure if these are acid-free, or if plastic is acid-free at all. But I am unconcerned about it. Thank you for taking the time to read this article. br>br>.
I ordered this because I needed a safe place to store some large paper items. This presentation appeared to be ideal, and it certainly is! It arrived in excellent condition and will hold up to 48 large items (11" x 17"). br>If I run out of room, I'll place an order for more books. It's also less expensive than ordering a 3-pound bag of chips. separate sleeve protectors and a ring binder.
There is no room for error; if your artwork or print is slightly too large, it will not fit. Other than that, it protects well and looks nice; the black paper insert is a great addition if your item is on the small side. Only two drawbacks: the item is susceptible to warping due to normal use near the front and back, and the covers are flexible, so they don't protect against warping in other ways.
I bought this album to store my finished 12x16 diamond art, which I had to trim the borders off before putting them in. They slid right in without a hitch. The black backing is made of plastic and serves as a nice backdrop for the diamond art; it's fairly sturdy, but flimsy due to its length of 17 inches. This does not have any closures, but it works for me. When I found out it could hold 48 photos, I was overjoyed. The sleeves are melded into the book to prevent them from falling out. The book is small and light.
This is the one you want if you're a fan of Chalk Couture. Although it is not large enough for the larger transfers, it is adequate for the rest.
