Questions & Answers
The pages will be 9X12 in size.
The only thing that can be removed is the divider. You are unable to delete or add pages.
Yes. It's a thin, opaque black plastic sheet with a light weight. It fits snugly inside, but it can be removed if necessary.
There is no binding on this one. It comes with plastic sleeves into which you can place your artwork. But it holds up well; nothing has slipped or fallen out of my daughters' hands. She, on the other hand, does not carry it with her very often.

Yes! One negative side effect is that there are a plethora of art works on the walls, tables, and other surfaces! So I had to resort to searching Amazon for a portfolio in order to regain control of the situation. I chose this one because it was the cheapest I could find with a lot of pages and was large enough to hold his larger-than-normal paper size, and WOW! The quality has astonished me. After admiring the portfolio (his art work, but mostly how neatly organized they are in the portfolio lol), I remembered all of his art work from preschool and kindergarten. You'll know (or remember) how many art projects your child brings home from preschool or elementary school if you have one. We gathered boxes and boxes of art work from preschool and kindergarten and stored them in the closet. So I had to order another one in order to try to sort through all of his art work dating back to kindergarten and compile it into a portfolio. So now I have this huge binder with all of his kinder art work (and that's just the ones I kept), but the portfolio expands really well, and all you really need to keep it closed is a large rubber band. I think it's a great way to organize all of these pieces of art (and it's a lot less expensive than throwing them away). despite the fact that neither we nor he may ever want to look at it again. br>br>I'm going to order another 5 or 6 just to get started organizing all of the preschool ones and have one for each grade or year.
This presentation book was the ideal combination of low cost and professional presentation. It easily accommodates my 140lb w/c paper. The pages slide in easily (but not too tightly), giving the book a nice finished look. I plan to buy more as my body of work grows. It would be ideal if these pages could be removed one by one, but beggars cannot be choosers.
This is something I really enjoy. I ordered the smaller one and am very happy with it; it feels substantial but isn't bulky at the same time. The only disadvantage is that it cannot be expanded by adding more sheets.
All of my 6x6, 8x8, and 9x12 stencils fit perfectly in this presentation book. I bought it because it was less expensive than the Itoya models, and I figured it would suffice for storage, but I was blown away by the quality. I will definitely purchase this brand the next time I need a presentation book to store my completed artworks in--it is of excellent quality. The black plastic sheet inserts are particularly appealing to me. They make it much easier to slide things in and out, preventing the plastic sleeves from becoming tangled and wrinkled. I also like how the book's outside edge has a trim around it. br>br>I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of these, and I would strongly recommend them.
It perfectly fits 9 x 12 pages and allows you to insert papers on both sides. It does not take up a lot of space. It's well-made and long-lasting. I wish they came with more pages, but they're fine as they are, and I just buy more when I need them. This is a fantastic purchase that is well worth the money.
I've recently started painting with gouache on 9x12 inch water color paper. I couldn't put them anywhere because I didn't have enough space. br>br>I looked around and found that filexec had the best deal - 24 pages with a black plastic sheet dividing the sleeve into two sheetsbr>br>The only drawback is that if you're storing/displaying non-rigid sheets of paper, you might not get the "hardback" support you need. br>br>I'm storing canson water color paper, which is more of a card stock than watercolor paper, so that won't be an issue. Should I save my bad art?br>br>Edit: I believe the only disadvantage is that it may slip out of the sleeve, but I just taped it in place to prevent this.
I bought it after seeing someone else use it to store her finished diamond paintings. With this and some 9x12 cardstock, I can easily mount the painting onto the cardstock and slide it into the holder to display and flip through past projects that I don't want to hang (at least for now). It meets my requirements perfectly. Because the diamond paintings make it too thick to close without bulging, I will most likely be unable to use all of the sleeves. When I get there, I'll cross that bridge. br>In the meantime, I strongly advise.
The quality appears to be excellent, and I believe this was a good value purchase. I purchased two of them and would recommend them to others.
